You already know I messed up the mixing, that's so... ;__;
Needless to say, I did my best, and I can assure you that this demo is better than your last few. Good job, Seymour ~
I think aside from my puffs (fricken pop filter fails, need a new one), this came out very well, and I do like the mixing Kennidy! D:...nanodesu...
I liked it though maybe wait a bit longer until your next one xD
I thought the acting was all very strong and natural as usual, but maybe a few more serious roles as it seems you played it very exaggerately until the end (but still a very nice job on all of them).
Keep up the good work~
Honestly, I couldn't help it, for some reason, I can never just be fully happy with something until I got it down the way I wanted it to, this finally got me to stop.
With that said, as much as serious roles are nice to have, I'm generally...a comical voice actor, serious stuff is never my forte (as some people may have noticed recently, lol.)
I liked the second line, but the pause after it kinda killed the awesomeness for me. So maybe remove that? Unless you don't find it too problematic. Then maybe that's just me.
Maybe have more low tough guy voices next time?
And yeah, wait a bit before you make a new demo.
Overall, nice.
WOW MAN! XDDDD That was a combination of awesome/Hilarious/and epicness man XD I really enjoyed this reel! THis came out just fantastic Sensei , keep up the good work! ^^
Hey man.
Going to say this right off the bat. You have already shown me your potential even before this character demo. Though people may say you need this and that, stick to what you are strongest with, and never sell yourself short with taking yourself further than you may think possible.
You did a great job here really showing just that: Your strengths. I believe you are coming to understand your overall sound and what will ultimately set you apart from others in the biz. I personally don't think you need more "tough guy voices" because you are surely a strong candidate in the comical arena and also in your more youthful range that could double as both legitimate and comical.
What I will say about this demo is that though you are showing off your very off-the-wall, quality acting, which is awesome, you are selling yourself short as that being all you can do. And frankly, it's not. You're sticking with what you find comfortable and not really having fun with exploring the darker side of your range. I don't believe that you are predominately a comical voice actor, but you've seem to come to that conclusion based on the opinions of others. This demo, unlike your others, shows that you've cut down your risk-taking of deeper characters that have potential to be trained well and closed yourself off to what you're most comfortable with in the hopes of getting the attention you believe you deserve.
And you do deserve it. Just not like this when you can do so much more with what you have.
Kennidy did very well in helping you showcase your sound through her mixing skills. Aside from that odd pause after the first character, you've got a solid, character demo that would make people think of you if they need a VA who gives an element of surprise and comical range. No issues with the quality of your mic either.
That's all I have for you. Best to you on your commercial demo, my friend.
