"K-On!" Episode 1 (NEW FACEBOOK VIDEO LINKS)

First off I would like to congratulate Bandai for licensing K-On... if they are to dub it they better not screw up.

Yui Hirasawa has just started her high school life, but does not know if she should join a club or not. Ritsu Tainaka wants to reform the light music club, which will be disbanded by the end of April if at least four members cannot be found. Ritsu convinces her friend Mio Akiyama to join the light music club instead of the literature club. Tsumugi Kotobuki, originally intending to join the choir club, also agrees to join. In their search for a fourth member, the three put up a poster for the club which catches Yui's eye, and she submits a form to join the club, but Yui cannot play any instruments, and she soon realizes that the goal of the club is to form a band. Despite this, the three members try to get Yui to stay, and after playing a short piece for her, Yui finally joins the club as a guitarist, though she not only has to learn how to play it, but has to buy one first.

Wait, that sounded wrong...I mean...I remember auditioning for it, but that's all there is to it, gyuu~ The thing is, I've just really started watching this series, and now I'm obsessed! xD I tried watching the English dub, but, in truth, I really didn't like it. I'm gonna download it now and watch it...although, I suck epically at giving critique, so don't expect one. xD

...All your sweets are belong to me. xD I couldn't believe that was an actual line...either that, or the fansubs were completely wrong...wait...o_O

Okay, I has watched teh fandub~

First of all: WHAT. THE. HECK. I totally didn't see that part at the top about K-On! getting licensed...that's SO COOL...shiitake mushrooms, I don't know all that many voice actors for Bandai, but I agree: they had better not screw it up. Or else...well, this may be somewhat unfitting, quoting a Funimation dub, but, ah, I just have to quote Casshern for this: "Luna...I WILL kill you..." xD Look out, Bandai!

Now, ah, back to the dub...YAY! xD That was so jiaweshum (word I made up unconsciously, don't ask, it's a long story that involves lots of iced tea and Hannah Montana)! I loved all the voices...ah, maybe I should list it all:

RisaPeccu, you made such an amazing Yui! xD You got that quirky, happy little tone down perfectly~ Okay, all sweets are belong to you. You deserve it~

PastellePrincess, lovedsded your Mio. xD Bandai should hire you for that dub!

Reikku. You as Ritsu = PURE WIN.

Amanda, your voice range never ceases to amaze me. I've seen you play more fiery characters, but you pulled off quiet little Mugi so well, it brought a tear to my eye...xD

AyaseSakura, the businesslike tone for Sawako was spot-on! Amazing job!

And Sylvian, your Nodoka was the icing on the cake~

Amazing job to EVERYONE! And now, you all see how badly I suck at giving critiques, because I can't give any criticism, constructive, harsh, or not, for freaking squat. xD So, if other people have anything to say about anything that isn't what I said, that's why. But, all in all, it was really amazin'~ I look forward to more episodes! Yay!
