The story takes place in the late 19th century somewhere in the mid-west just outside of a small town. An old man spends most of his twilight years just outside of town cooking by himself and playing with his guitar. one day a young gentleman comes to sit down with him and they have a small chat while in the distance some tribulations take place in town.

BIO: local man, fifties, lived a full life
voice: tired, local voice, has a feel of wisdom to him
voice line 1:good because I made too much for one
voice line 2:no, then what are you then?
name:Young Gentleman
age:mid twenties
BIO: Pennsylvanian (easterner), very kind, calm, and charming
voice: easterner, kind
voice line 1: I'm not an oil tycoon
voice line 2: thank you for the coffee unfortunately I can't have that gumbo right now, although I think Francis could talk me into coming back (chuckle) eh? tu d'accord?
both characters are open and all can audition if they feel they have the voice for it
