VA's needed for Rurouni Kenshin abridged series

Well first of I love this show so I'm hoping to make this an exciting and fun experience for everyone involved


Project information - This will be the first episode to start off so only a few of the characters are needed and then if it proves to be a success the following episodes will be added later

Characters

Name: Gohei Hiruma
Age: 37
Bio:
Gohei is one of the many characters featured both in the anime and manga, but is one of the few that has completely different characteristics in them.
In the anime, Gohei was the first pest Kenshin had encountered in Tokyo who claimed he was Battousai of the Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu. Although he wielded his sword with his left hand, Gohei was originally right-handed. At first, Gohei was a student of the Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu until he rebelled with the idea that a sword is meant to kill and not just protect. For his attempt at trying to kill his master one day during practice, Gohei was left with a severly injured thumb. He ran around disgracing the school's name and even started up a small gang consisting of a bunch of lackies. Finally, one day, he decided to encounter the daughter of the man who mangled his right hand, Kaoru, but then was defeated by the wandering rurouni and arrested.
Somehow, Gohei managed to flee prison and reappeared on two occassions with his mind set on getting revenge on Kenshin. He had hired men both times. The first time around was the gangster Zanza, who soon become known as Sagara Sanosuke, and the second is not acknowledged by the actual storyline, thus it is not that important.
Voice type: deep, and cocky sounding... to the standard person he is a very intimidating man
Audition line 1: "I remember you from yesterday..." speaking to kenshin, frustrated
Audition line 2: "weaklings! your all a bunch of weaklings!" overconfident boasting to the police swordsmen unit

Lines: "Oh god! its king Leonidas!"

Name: Dr. Gensai
Age: elderly about 50 to 55
Voice type: yoda ish
lines: "Strong that one is, Marry him you should"

Name: Kaoru Kamiya
Age: 17 year old female
Voice type: typical teenage girl
Lines: "I sure hope that guy doesnt come running in here unexpectedly and sees me naked"

"Back off Bitch, he's mine!"

Thats pretty much all the main characters for now, more characters will appear as the episodes go on and even if you dont get a major part you will probably get asked to do some some smaller characters or extra voices. If I get people who are interested in this then I would like to create a group known as KenshinGumiPro on youtube where all the videos will be posted, please post here if interested and send your auditions to the email above

UPDATE: well I've gotten some great auditions so far and I've cast a few of them already, Sanosuke Sagara who will show up in episode 4 will be played by Gir. I will be doing Kenshin and Wescox will be voicing Dr. Gensai/the intro man, Rasue1 will be playing Gohei and the random cop I already have a strong possible for Kaoru but nothing is official on that yet so dont forget to send in those auditions. Thanks to everyone who auditioned

UPDATE 2: I've Gotten a terrific Kaoru, congrats to xxshadowxlovelyxx on the part. Everyone expect to see the first episode sometime soon!
