WONDERLUST OCT
Hey everyone!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Cheang and the reason why I’m here is because I am in need of some voice actors. This is not an anime series, it is actually a flash for a competition called WONDERLUST OCT. If you do not know what OCT is, it stands for Original Character Tournament. It’s when you create one or two characters and put them in a tournament. Next, you go up against other people’s characters to see who wins. It’s the artist job to create the battle scene and give out a good storyline, by drawing a comic or whatever the artist feels comfortable with. As you can see I decided to go with flash animation. If you would like to audition for one of the part, please go right ahead, and if you know anyone else that would like to audition.

Congrats to ~lexeatsglue and ~Zyggy567 for getting the part. So give them an around of applause. I believed that all of you, who auditioned for my project, were great. Sadly i could only choose one.
There is still a look out for a Marlin, so the audition for his will still be open. If you know anyone that fits the part recommend them and get them to audition.^^
This also means the person who gets the part of Marlin will be given a shorter due date to finish up with the audios. sorry. ^^;

Story:
Big Ben, the physical embodiment of time itself, is falling apart. The gears inside Ben are linked directly to the functioning of time itself, and something is causing them to break and fall out. As a result, Ben is becoming ill and time is beginning to distort.
The three timekeepers of the past, present and future know that Ben must be kept running at all costs and the pieces must be restored, but there are far too many pieces and too little time left to be able to do it themselves…
..So they have organized a grand tournament stretching across all dimensions of time to restore the pieces and help Ben before he comes to an untimely end.
Sho and Cheng are finally reunited after finding an unusual clock piece. But the problem between their friendships still has them in a difficult state. They must work together and set aside the past to help the timekeepers to restore Big Ben.
This is not the only place I will put up the audition, I will be putting this up on My Deviant Art Journal as well. So yeah, more competition.
What to do:
- Post that you are auditioning (add in who you want to audition for and when you are going to send your audition)

- Before auditioning make should you understand the character and what type of voice they are suppose to have (like spiritual echo voices or tough deep voice)
- Record yourself saying the character’s sample lines(using more sample line is encourage). Make sure it’s in MP3 format and it’s placed in a .zip
- Audio title as: (character’s name)_(username)_(line number).mp3
- Once you are done, email me the audio file. (email is below)

Rules:
- After the deadline is over I will choose who will play the part.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
- if you are chosen to play the character please add me to your contact list by email and/or deviantart and here, so I can keep in contact with you.
- Next I will send you a script for the lines of the character.
- You will have a maximum of 14 days to get the audio done.
- You will permanently have the role of the characters that you have been chosen to play until the tournament is over. More like forever. If there is a problem with that you can email me that you don’t want the role anymore and I will cross your name off, but this is after the tournament is over or until I lose a match.
- Once you send me all the audios, I will add it in the flash.
- You will be in the credits of the flash as well. And if you want a link can be added to go to your website or demo reel (like and ad).

Marlin
Gender: male
Age: unknown, mid 50s
Race: Timekeeper of the present
Personality: He’s a jolly old man that will act like your grandfather that you never had. Helpful, jolly, caring, and serious. When he’s around someone new he’ll welcome you with open arms and try to get at least a laugh out of you.
Voice type: a mature, old mid 50s maybe older, scruffy really low voice, with an Irish. I can’t really say, it’s not my character. They best I can do is say it sounds like the jackalope in this video

For the sample line please don’t hesitate to add any Irish saying it in, or whatever, as long it’s understandable and mean the same thing.
Line 1: (stress) “so much work! How am I suppose to do all of this?”
Line 2: (remorse) “Oh Rosemary, If only I can see your face again…”
Line 3: (fatherly) ” It’s a bit easier to be the Timekeeper of the Present, Because your focusing on what is in front of you then what was before or after.”
