So, I have 5 Soul Eater clips coming soon. And this is one of them. This clip will be followed by a clip from Episode 11. So anyway, yay! This is finally done after many days of waiting for lines and a recast we have this 7min clip from Episode 10 of Soul Eater. In this scene, BlackStar goes up against the Demon Blade, Masamune, who has possessed a young boy named Ryoku.

Man, that was... amazing! I loved it! The mixing was excellent, as always, McTricky, although there were a couple instances where I thought BlackStar should have made a couple noises, but other than that, I think it was brilliant!

BlackStar/Bree - This was my first time hearing you, Bree, but you performed brilliantly! Other than the couple of times that I thought BlackStar appeared silent when he shouldn't have, you were just amazing. I love the energy you gave to BlackStar.

Tsubaki/Shudo-Ranmaru - It's great to finally be reunited with you after so long, Shudo! You also performed beautifully! I actually can't think of anything negative to say about your performance. I'm always amazed by the emotion you throw into your characters.

Masamune/Myself - I think this was probably one of the best performances I've ever given. Other than almost peaking, I think, I think I did pretty well. Usually, I can find something or another wrong or nitpick something of mine, but I can't find anything in this at all. So I'm very proud of this!

Puppet Shadow/Man/McTricky - You were wonderful, McTricky. Those haunting noises you made as the Puppet Shadow were really surprising, but every convincing as well! Amazing job! You did miss a lip flap or two with the Man, though, but you still did fine as him, too.

Overall, an amazing fandub, that I'm very happy to be part of!

Amazing job on this, Tricky! The cast did all very well, with just a few nitpicks here and there, but nothing extremely major. Bree did a very great job as our new BlackStar (can't wait to work with youuuu~). Since I've never watched Soul Eater, this felt very close to the original dub!

Some very tiny mixing issues have to do with volume (sometimes Shudo's lines were very soft), and some of those gushy blood noises (when BlackStar's foot went into the mud, it sounded like a gushy blood noise. Sometimes I thought they could have a little more impact than just gush).

Other than that, you tackled a really difficult clip and pulled it off so well, mixing-wise and acting-wise. One of your best works ;D

Woah this came out so quick XD I'm glad to have the opportunity to be in this clip! Blackstar is one of my favorite characters, and one of the most fun to play! I just had no idea what voice to use..if I should match the dub, sub, Little Gurl's..., so I did so many takes...I'MSORRYMCTRICKY. I'll stick to this one now =3
I think everyone did amazing in this clip, I honestly thought It was a professional at many points, and my mom and sister were both in the room and thought it was too XD

SHUDO/TSUBAKI: Amazing performance! I have loved your Tsubaki since the minute I heard it, I felt that you preformed flawlessly, I couldn't pick a thing out I disliked. It was a powerful performance, and I can't wait to see how well you do in the episode 11 clip, and I can't wait to work with you again!

RAHNE/MASAMUNE: Wow. That was great, at some parts I was genuinely creeped out by Masamune, just like when I originally watched the episode subbed. I haven't seen you in too many things that I recall, but it definitely stood out. I did noticed some almost peak points, but I think I had some of those too. Still, it didn't take away any bit of the performance for me, It was still amazing!

MCTRICKY/MIXING/PUPPET: No complaints. At all. I think your mixing was quite professional, and although I'm sure there may have been some SFX/Volume nitpicks I didn't pick up on, I wasn't looking because since the moment it began it felt professional to me. Your puppet was indeed....scary o3o And your older man was very believable! I think that there were a few lip flaps off on the man, as well as once of twice on mine, but that's my bad XD

MYSELF/BLACKSTAR: I honestly loved playing Blackstar in this, and thought my performance was one of my better ones, minus my weird Microphone echo in the first 6 lines, when I had it on the wrong setting >> I should have redone those ^^'. And a few grunts I should have added in, and lipflaps sorta missed, but I totally forgot to redo them. Otherwise, I would just be nitpicking at every little part of my performance if I went on XD I can't wait to play him again!

Yay! I'm happy you both liked it, I'm excited to work with you too Sera! Happyhappytiemz XD I'm glad my first impression was a good one, Rahne! And The energy was the best part, gotta get all over excited and annoying and BLACKSTAR-LICIOUS. I'll be sure to add in more grunt/other noises next time, I must have missed them in my excitement, tehe.

I thought this was most excellent, great job mixing as always McTricky.

There was a slight echo in Bree's microphone but it wasn't too distracting, good energy and acting made up for it~

Bree [BlackStar] Who would use Bree for BlackStar ahahaha ehhh Just kidding, shes wonderful in this clip, the only problem I spot was when BS got important man parts smash into the statue, I felt she could have sound more in pain when hes was talking about time and junk, but it was still funny and awesome.


Shudo-Ranmaru [Tsubaki] She was wonderful has the role, right now I only watched it once, so not gonna really gonna try to find something negative say lol


Rahne [Masamune/Ryoku] Same has above, only with a he lol but yeah he was super dooper awesome in the clip


McTricky [Everyone Else] You manage to miss a lip on the one guy, quite shocking, but ehh, not too hurtful, Well since you did all the minor thing I can't say much, you were awesome

This cast was superb! Rahne sure as hell amped up the creeee~eeeeepy for his voice and DAMN did it turn out awesome! Shudo as Tsubaki is classy as always. The disciplined tone fits amazingly well! Bree had good energy and a fitting voice, but I felt that her mic quality was distracting, especially since both Rahne and Shudo had far better mic qualities.

The mixing was top-notch, to say the least, and overall this was a really amazing clip!
