Cropping subtitles out?

can someone explain in simpe words how i can do this lol! This is my first time capturing stuff so it's very new to me. I just want to know if it's possible to do in Virtual dub and how to cut the subs out.

Yes it is possible in Virtual dub to do that.

You just put the video in.

Then you go to the video menu and choose Filters.

Then go down and choose a Null Filter and click on it.

Then off to the side of the menu, the word cropping will highlight. Click on that and then just push the numbers or the sliders up and down till you get it to where you want it.

It is possible with Virtual Dub,
here's the steps:

1) Open VD
2) Load video file
3) Click "Video" up top then click "Filters"
4) Scroll down to "resize"
5) Make it 320 x 200 (usually)
6) Press OK
7) then a new button will pop up that says "Cropping", click on it and it'll take you to the cropping screen
8) drag the frame to how much you wanna cut off.
9) Press "OK" and "OK" again AND TADAH!
