As you can see, nothing was lost.

Yes, it was all an April Fool's Day Joke. No, Matt is not an admin [and wasn't even for the joke], and this is most definitely not a Matt Cruea Appreciation Fansite. It was a joke. Not exactly a difficult concept to grasp, but still, there were people who found themselves extremely up in arms over it. We didn't take anything away from anyone - everything was just hidden. The joke lasted from approximately 7AM Pacific Standard Time to 12PM Pacific Standard Time - approximately five hours. Most of that time, I imagine, many of you were asleep, at work, or school, or weren't even at the forum itself, and the time that was spent, I'm pleased to say many of you took in stride and went along with it. Those that were whining about it really had nothing to whine about - it was five hours that you will eventually get over. I'm not going to be nice about, or apologize over, this because it was a joke that should have been fun - not something to stomp feet and cry over. Those that didn't find it funny should have taken their own advice and found something else to do with their time.

When I went to turn the forum off to make the changes this morning, I seriously thought about just leaving the forum off all day, with a simple message "You have been banned." At least this one was interactive! If we do one next year, have fun with it, please.

That said, I've read that most jokes are to be finished by noon - As it is noon in California, I've restored the forum to its original self and have archived all threads regarding today's joke. Carry on.

If a forum section appears to be missing, let me know and I'll unhide it. It's possible I missed something, what with all the copying and pasting of numbers I just did.
