Speaking of which, I'd have to say another tip is maintaining at least a bit of professionalism. Put scripts/posts through a spellchecker at least. Emoticons should not express your every emotion. Be courteous.

And it's not just in your audition thread. If you act like a hardass/smartass/other kind of donkey throughout the forum, chances are people won't want to work with you.

I wish EVERY FANDUBBER OUT THERE would read this. This is a great compilation of bulletpoints that wraps up everything fandubbers and fandub directors should be wary of.

Well done. And again, EVERYONE READ THIS.

Completely agreed, on both counts. If you can't be bothered to put in the effort to at least make your audition posts/scripts readable, it really doesn't give people the best impression. If you can't even put in the bit of effort to spell-check, it just comes across as you being lazy and not taking the time to actually care about your own project.

And again, agreed. If you post anything publicly here, be it on the forums themselves or on your profile/profile conversations, people will see it. If you act like a jackass, and troll or badmouth other members, people are going to notice, and it's not exactly going to do wonders for your reputation, be it as an actor or producer.
