For those of you that enjoy cosplaying, what's going to be your next or latest project? Sharing pictures would be awesome too
I'm not too big on cosplaying myself but I try it out from time to time. I find myself involved with really easy costumes. My first cosplay was Melfina from Outlaw Star and my next will be Jill Valentine from RE3.
The plan was to make the cosplay in time for this past Halloween, unfortunately I became sick and had to stay home. Sucks, right? So, now I'm just waiting on the next occasion to wear it. I might have to wait for the next con, now that I think about it...Which will not be until this summer. Bleh. Oh well, I can wait, I guess.
I wanted to make the cosplay, uhm, kinda creepy and mangled. I have a friend that graduated beauty school and she can do really cool stage makeup. So I want to have gnarly scratches along the arms, a chunk of flesh taken out of the shoulder, bruised legs (and with my klutziness, I won't need makeup for that part), and various blood smears here and there. The skirt also has some rips to add to that effect. I really don't want to do much to the top because its nice...and I may wear it for some other occasion, haha! I guess I can still wear that to a con, but Halloween sounds more fitting. Oh! And I have a friend who has these pretty realistic looking guns (but they're actually paintball guns) along with the shoulder holsters, so I'm practically set. I just have to be extremely cautious where I sport the guns >_>
