It's finally finished, and it is thoroughly awesome! Amazing story, original music, great voice acting, and hilariously fun to play!
Merry Gear Solid 2: Ghosts of Christmas Past is the sequel to 2006’s Merry Gear Solid: Secret Santa. Set years after the events of the first game, Merry Gear Solid 2 sets Old Snake on an adventure to retrieve Santa’s Hat from an extremist group known as the Ghosts of Christmas Past. Using an array of new tools, and returning favorites, Solid Snake must infiltrate Outer Savin’ mall and prevent the Ghosts from taking control of the SOC (Spirit of Christmas) System.
The game takes around 2-4 hours to finish, and there's roughly an hour's worth of dialogue in it! I play the part of the first major villain you encounter in the game, but all of the voice talent in this game did an awesome job! From the VAA: Kamuro, CidRunsFunny, and particularly Zeix with all of the dialogue Snake had! The game does have a bit of tedium involved due to some backtracking to acquire items, but for being developed on a tight schedule it's still a blast to play! Any fan of the Metal Gear series will be laughing their stockings off at the humor packed into this game, and even those unfamiliar to all the subtle details of the series (such as myself) will too!
