Heh quite a theme to do a demo reel based off of. I think it would've been cool to have some music from the game in the background to make it flow better.

That said doing a demo reel where you play established characters is very rough unless you can sound exactly like the characters. I think blackheart was somewhat in the right direction, but others weren't even close so it just didn't work for me.

Though on a positive note you did exhibit you had potential for alot of range, you just really need to fine tune the voices so that they could indeed be usable and entertaining. A number come out quite forced (wolverine for example). Also the strain on some of the voices seem to make you take several breathes while doing them and in turn it would interrupt their dialogue flow.

Dan was pretty well done, he had that whiny nature he needed but still there wasn't enough energy in the performance. The characters just come out a little dull because they either felt held back or unnatural. Captain Commando was also a little too calm and quiet. Though for both of them the potential was there.

Just work on polishing the voices, don't go so far that you have to strain yourself to do a certain voice and make sure you project yourself stronger and I think it'll turn out better.

If you are interested would you want to audition for a role in a project I'm working on?

Overall I enjoyed listeaning to this.
I really liked hearing your intupertations of the characters.
The only thing I could see that needed some work was the develeary of your lines.
Just make them flow as they would in an actual conversation.
So just speed up your delevery a bit and it will sound a lot more natural.

Not bad, but it could use some work, here is my detailed review:
Wolverine: I noticed a lot of strain in keeping the voice, I feel that the focus was more on going deep than getting the emotion across. I know Wolverine is often portrayed as having a super deep voice, but looking at Hugh Jackman, his voice isn't supremely deep, yet he gets down the character fantastically in my opinion. I feel that you should go as deep as you can while it still feels natural, focus on the emotion here. The emotions felt a bit monotone and didn't reflect that thoughtful emotion that was presented in the ending.

Dan: Really good, I felt you got him down right. I think that the only thing was that he could have sounded a bit more injured when he says ouch, also, a bit of a boost in the arrogance wouldn't hurt, overall very good job, I'd like you to try more with this character.

Spider-man: Pretty good, I liked the energy, but a bit of slow down around the "JJJ will make me look like the bad guy" would add a boost. He's a bit bummed and showcasing an "meh, oh well, same ol' same ol JJJ" attitude.

Bison: I really liked this voice from you, pretty solid. You have confidence, power and arrogance that Bison is known for. The only minor issue was the ha didn't sound enough like a laugh for me, I'm a bit of a stickler for Bison, so meh, it's a nitpick, no biggie.

Colossus: The voice fit nicely, Peter was never a big crazy fella, but a gentle man with the heart of an artist, the problem with this was that the execution was a bit too laid back. He's not yelling at Magneto with rage, but there should have been more passion, he's stating the pride of having human parents and rubbing this in Magneto's genocidal face. Also he wants to prevent losing anyone else, while talking to the professor he should be a bit more passionate; he's thinking of the future and the past simultaneously, he really has his passion flaring here. It should sound excited as well as determined.

Dr. Light: Overall, good strong benevolent voice, there sounded like there was a bit of strain and thus it made a bit of the diction foggy. I like what you did and would like you to try and get a more natural feel for this voice, it can take you pretty far.

Blackheart: Really good, you got the impulsive and dynamic bravado I would expect him to have. I felt the power and triumph in his voice. No real complaints here.

Norimaru: Perfect fit, he's a weird and perverted little nerd, his voice worked and was weasel-y enough due to the nasally way you spoke in.

Silver Samurai: Strong, prideful and ambitious

Captain Commando: I understand you were going for the stoic hero, but Capt, is not like Cyclops or Captain America. When looking at his animations he's a very energetic-pose-heavy. He's a hand on hips, loud, proud hero. I'm not saying you should go crazy, but those classic depictions of Superman come to mind. That's just my interpretation of him though. Just looking at the voice and nothing else, he was quite low energy and he sounded a bit like he was sleeping I'm afraid. He should have been louder and have some more confidence, he just saved the world and is trying to be inspirational to the citizens of the world.

Overall I feel you did pretty good and are showing some real potential with those voices, I just think pushing yourself a bit further will bring about a rewarding experience. Also knowing your limits should be important, don't try and strain your voice too much on the deeper characters; you can go ahead an lift the voice a teensey bit and focus on the emotional depth, you'll be regarded better if the emotions are spot on but the voice is a little higher than people expect. I hope this helped, best of luck.
