What has long ears, big feet, “use to” have a fluffy tail, stands upright and is Captain of spacecraft called the USS Jackalope? Hmmmmmm think about it, got it yet? Well, if you’re a fan of our Star Rabbit Tracks (if not check out our archives), you would know the answer within a hop, skip and jump. Yes, it is Captain Peter Rabbit. He, along with his crew, has a special treat for you today. They are being interviewed by none other then The Voice Guy, other words known as, John Bell. “It has become apparent that the News Media is running out of “good news”, so they’ve come aboard the USS Jackalope to try and find some.” You will love this episode as The Voice Guy ask hard questions of the Crew to see if there is things going on within or outside of the famous USS. Jackalope.

We hope you enjoyed last week’s audio called SHE of The Administration series, this week we couldn't think of a better way to start off the Halloween season then to offer you two episodes of Small Worlds. The first is called Mirror Mirror, which takes place on the eve of a young girl’s wedding; her grandmother tells what she knows about men. This is NOT what you may expect. The second is called Jerry Lee, where a musician sells his soul for eternal fame but he wants proof that the Devil will deliver. I’m sure I don’t want to be in his shoes. So there you have it two shows to start the month of October. Only at www.Misfitsaudio.com

This week’s Misfits Audio show is a fantastic episode of Jim Nolan, Private Eye. It’s been a while since you last heard from Jim Nolan, but it was well worth the wait. This is an incredible story that you will love to listen to over and over. The Actors and Post-Production people really outdid them selves. What could be better then when Jim is called in by a lawn maintenance crew that finds a dead body? www.MisfitsAudio.com

Misfits Audio is looking to cast several roles for the next episode of JIM NOLAN, PRIVATE EYE, “The Death of Anderson Buchwald.” Voice descriptions and sample lines are listed below. The deadline for auditions is December 10. Please submit your auditions to jawunicorn at aol dot com and mikeandzachary at verizon dot net. Please note that this is a non-paying production, and union status does not matter. Many thanks for your interest.

AMELIA BUCHWALD: A spoiled little rich girl in her early 30s. Any type of voice will do. She should sound full of herself.

    1. I’m in need of a private detective, and you come highly recommended.

    2. Let’s not jump to conclusions based on a preliminary examination.

ANDERSON BUCHWALD: A wealthy businessman in his late 60s. His voice should sound gravelly and rather deep.

    1. Amelia, I wanted you to be the first to know: Last evening, I proposed to Virginia. She accepted.

    2. She makes me happy. At my age, I can ask for little more.

GLENN BUCHWALD: Amelia’s spoiled little brother. In his late 20s. Any type of voice will do. He should sound rather full of himself.

    1. My name is Glenn. . . Buchwald. My sister, Amelia, paid you a visit today.

    2. But what about us?

INN CLERK: Any voice type. Male or female. Any age.

    1. I’m sorry, Mr. Nolan, but your room isn’t ready yet.

    2. What time is it? (PAUSES) He’s probably across the street at Jill’s.

SHERIFF ROSCOE FINNEGAN: A law-and-order sheriff in his early 40s. Deep voice and a slight Boston accent.

    1. The name’s Finnegan – Roscoe Finnegan. Call me Roscoe.

    2. Sure thing. (CALLING OUT) Judy, some coffee for my friend here please.

JUDY: A diner waitress in her late 50s. She has a slight Southern accent.

    1. I. . . I didn’t mean to eavesdrop on the conversation you had with Roscoe. I couldn’t help but hear some of it though.

    2. You can say that again. Anderson was a nice guy – always smiling and happy – but his kids. . . Well, that’s another story.

CHIEF TEMPLETON: A fire chief in his early 50s. He has a strong, deep voice with no noticeable accent.

    1. Possibly. Either that or some overloaded outlets; maybe both.

    2. Ms. Buchwald, I doubt very much that the preliminary findings will be overturned by a more thorough examination.

VIRGINIA BUCHWALD: Mid 60s. Any voice type. Tired by life and recent events.

    1. You must be the man Judy phoned me about.

    2. Mr. Draper will straighten all this out in the morning.

GUARD: Male. Any voice type. Only has one line.

    1. Five minutes, Mr. Nolan.

FR. MALLORY: A priest in his late 40s. He has a slight brogue.

    1. Yes. I have it right here in my desk.

    2. I witnessed him write it. Is the word of a humble priest good enough for you?

JUDGE WHITBURN: A judge in his early 50s. He has a noticeable Southern twang.

    1. Mr. Draper, what do you have to say for your client?

    2. Mr. Nolan, will you do us the honor?

MR. DRAPER: An attorney in his mid 40s. Any voice type will do.

    1. Your honor, Mrs. Buchwald has asked to speak for herself at this time.

    2. At your earliest convenience. Why?

    RECORDING AND CONTACT INFORMATION:

    - Record in format: 44100hz, 128-bit Stereo mp3.

    - Save the lines as "JN16_charactername_yourname_audition.mp3."

If you are chosen, we will be asking you to do your lines THREE TIMES EACH, each time a little differently, so the mixer can pick the best take.

In the subject line of your e-mail, please type "JN16_charactername_yourname_audition."

Deadline for auditions is December 10.

Please send to jawunicorn@aol.com and mikeandzachary@verizon.net.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are chosen for one of the above roles, we will let you know when we will need your lines back to begin mixing. If that date presents a problem for you, let us know as soon as possible. Otherwise, please adhere to the deadline. A missed deadline will jeopardize your role. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours after mailing you about the missed deadline, we will be forced, in the interest of time, to recast your role.

    Thank you.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is with sad and somewhat confused mind that I have to inform you that another episode of THE ADMINISTRATION is now posted. In fact, I am so confused about this President-Elect that I may have to join the other side. The problem is, I’m not sure what side he is on. So if you’re not a strong supporter of ether side, you will love this episode. And maybe this President-Elect has the right idea. Laughter is something we all need, so enjoy. www.misfitsaudio.com
One last thing, we will be starting our Christmas Special with “Santa’s Kitten”, next Monday. All those that have been a part of this, deserve a heart warm Thank You for a job very well done.
