Well done everyone! Ranma is one of the earliest animes I was introduced to so it made me very happy to see a clip up! I haven't actually seen too much of the series so this makes me wanna catch up on it XD

This was awesome Sakasa! I might leave a more detailed critique later, but for the most part, this brought back a lot of memories of the series for me, so that's a plus. Everyone did a pretty good job in this clip.

One thing though, the last line of Break the Age's Ranma could've been better, since it sounded like he held back to me. Other than that, the clip was a success! Can't wait to see more.

I agree with that last line there. I know it sounded held back but I actually did shout that line! I have no idea why it came out like that! I'll have to figure that out sometime. Thanks though! ^^

I enjoyed the short clip. Loved the sound effects and it all blended in so smoothly. Shudo was a terrific Shampoo, Break was a little deep for Ranma but that doesn't mean his performance was bad at all (I like deep voices anyways~), Ovarku shined in Kuno's seat (definitely a good pick!), and Omega had great comedic timing.

Thanks for letting me stick my nose in for a little bit XD It was nice to play Nabiki for the first time~

Woo more Ranma, its so much fun to see more fandubs of this series T_T

Shampoo- You know shudo this was actually really well done I think you changed your tone to fit shampoo rather well. Some of your normal power was lost on your yells but they were still effective. Also the accent wasn't perfect but it was still a good attempt. Good acting really help support this scene as usual, excellent job!

Ranma- You had good energy, you had good confidence and you did a good job varying the lines. Still I think you came off a bit too strong for Ranma, it made him sound more like a tough guy and rather thuggish, He is very cocky indeed but he's not especially aggressive. Also I found your voice on the deep side so that even further made him sound like a tough guy, try and thin it out a bit so you get that teenage tone and I think your Ranma will fit the character a bit more. Also it seems you speak a few of your lines in a rather slow fashion and it makes them not flow very well (mainly the first one), so I think you want to just speeds things up (not too much of course) just to keep the natural sound.

Nabiki- I liked this, it was a nice original take it fit pretty well. Not much to go off but I think it fit her well from what I could tell, good job~

Kuno- Hmm I think I got what you were going for ovarku, he definitely has the aura of "Oh so now you see it my way" but I think your tone was a bit too...cool sounding xD. Kuno is rather pompous so he should sound a bit funny when he delivers but this is something that will make fangirls go crazy for instead xD, still you did deliver your lines well so it didn't really take away from the scene.

Mixing- Nice as always, coolio job sakasa!

Thanks for the critique. I don't know the character well, but from what I gathered when I read his line, I thought he had the vibe of thinking he was simply irresistible top shit with the ladies(?), so I tried going for that, but I think I see your point, as delivering the line to make him seem more lame and dorky than cool.

I see what you're driving at. I thought there would be flaws in this considoring I don't know the character that well. I remember seeing the original dub as a reference and I just did NOT like the way the woman conveyed him. Not just in voice but emotion too. So I did my own spin on it and I would see what would happen, but I guess that doesn't excuse me for not doing my homework. As for the deepness of the voice I totally agree. I always thought I sounded too old for him. I'm currently looking at ways to make it higher if I ever happen to do him again. And you claim I said a few of my lines a little slow, I for one didn't notice this because I was trying to match up my lips with the character as much as possible but I thought I had a steady pace going... oh well, that's your opinion! ^^
