Where can i host sound files for free?

Does anyone know where I might host my sound and video files for free?

you have a few choices here...

1. You host very short clips of 5MB or less each and usualy places such as geocities will allow you to host them. I'm not so sure about the terms in Angelfire but it seems it's been nice to people so far, so perhaps scan through and check it out if it would be nice to you (cuz it wasn't for me so :p )

2. you might be just stuck paying for space... or you can ask around and see if anyone is nice enough to perhaps host it for you...

I wouldn't recommend them for hosting actual websites since they have lots of problems, but if all you need is the space go for www.web1000.com
As long as you know how to use FTP, they aren't a bad option. They give you 50MB, which is pretty good.
Direct linking is a go from there, so you can just link directly to your clips from the board too ^^.

I've recently been recommended: http://www.angeltowns.com
However, to my dismay they don't allow the uploading of large files (I couldn't even upload music files under 2MB >.>).

Another option is www.pick-me.net
This site allows you to look for people who want hostees.
