I have decided to write and direct a short concise version of 'Mad Love' (The Graphic novel depicting the origin of Harley Quinn,and thus how she fell in love with the joker.) I'll need 4 Voice Artists, 1 for Harley Quinn, 1 for the Joker, 1 For Male Extras, 1 For Female Extras. I desire this because I want to finish this movie before I begin work on my final Machinima- Back to the Future- Part IV. Batman will bizarely not feature in this movie, I will end the film just before he would appear.
So without further ado, here is how you audition.
HARLEY QUINN (HARLEEN QUINZEL)
BACKSTORY- Whilst doing a newspaper story on the Joker, she interviews and promptly becomes fascinated by him. She soon leaves her job and turns to a life of crime in order to please the Joker. As suggested by her name (a play on the word "harlequin"), she is clad in the manner of a traditional harlequin jester. She then sets out to kill Batman to gain the Joker's affection.
INFO: VA will have to pull off both crazy and normal for the respective sides of Harley.
AUDITION LINE- "I'm free, unbound by the laws of society, I now know the true meaning of being an outcast and the joy that comes from it."
JOKER
BACKSTORY: We all know Heath Ledger's legendary performance as the Joker in the Dark Knight, but I want this Joker to be more original, a creation quite different to anything else. The Joker in this film is utterly insane, and never shows any signs of mental clarity.
INFO: Am open to any interpretations of the joker, can be the VA's creation if he wishes, if you don't have your own spin, see Hammil's Joker.
AUDITION LINE- "A joke isn't funny if it has to be explained. (Laughs)"
MALE EXTRA 1
Will have to play about 2 or 3 roles, each role will have 2 or 3 lines. Doesn't really need to have a range.
AUDITION LINE- "So you're actually gonna interview this psycho? Rather you than me."
FEMALE EXTRA 1
