The VA/Producing "LOL" thread

I try to make the directors laugh. For Pokemon Abridged, I had to ad lib a bunch of lines for the Spearow swarm in episode 1. I sang "Friday," orchestrated an argument on which My Little Pony was the best, saying 9/11 was an inside job, and so forth. I also had to re-record one line at least 10 times for the director, so I titled the file "Spearowpleasekillme.WAV."

Hearing my partner in production go on a 18 minute (I kept time) rant on how much he hated a voice clip I made him listen to. What made it funnier is that I really liked the take and when I told him he started getting indignant.

Award for the most weeaboo comment ever (found on an oooold fandub). Like, Jesus Christ, Youtube. Of course an English fandub of French-English sorta characters will use the Japanese "Ozu". Of course.

I have to revive this thread, because boy did I see a moment that made me giggle in regards to my recent voice work.

So I read the comment sections for something I did recently in my native accent, and of course, I always knew someone out there was going to say something about it. Of course, someone says I have the worst fake Australian accent they have ever heard (because someone from Denmark totally knows), but the best comment I have read so far in regards to it was "Hey, leave Monterey Jack alone"
