They are the part that usually takes surprisingly long. I end up spending half the total time drawing just on backgrounds o.O

Hah. I can draw characters (anime-style) faster than the wind. I've really never attempted to spend any time on backgrounds... In general, if an artpiece takes longer than 10 minutes, I give up or doodle another one...

XD usually stuff I draw in colour takes 20-60 hours depending on the image size. Character sketches I like, they are usually nice and fast. A bit slower when it's another person's char, since I tend to drafts and that whole 'change this' process starts.

20-60....hours...I'd die having to stare at one art that long. XD I'm too hyper ADD to spend that much time. My friend Silver could probably spend his whole life on one piece...so many people have more patience than me. I think the longest I've spent ever... may have been around 3 hours on one piece. I thought I was going to die. I broke it up into 10-30 minute intervals just to be able to stand it for that long.

Maybe I'll learn to work long and hard on one piece. I could probably improve my art skills that way.

K: Yeah, my art did improve after I started spending way too long on each piece. And I get so insecure about not making commissions as good as people expect. XD

Up~ XD Sorry I've not updated this for a while, we've been busy making cosplay items. My group came out on top in the props comp with our giant wings and backplate armor, but sadly had to pull out of main comp because one of us got a head injury on the day T_T So... life's been too hectic to draw!

You are such a brilliant artist. I like the most your drawing background. you draw it in such a nice way. When i saw your pictures i feel that I am seeing a 3D pictures or seeing in a television. I like the way you represent the character in your drawings.
