Hiya! This is the "Prophecy of the Nameless" in Mitelian (The language of the native people of a planet in a work on progress of mine, see http://www.fableforge.org for details, it might eventually be a radioplay, or a webfic, or both)... I wrote it in English, then backwards-translated it into Mitelian, then spoke it into the microphone. ^_^ Did some nifteh sound effects on it, too.
Didn't care too much about it being perfect, because I was originally just recording it for the guy I'm working with to listen to, so it's a -little- tiny bit crackly.

-Last words of Ondaça the Seeress, spoken many years before the
arrivals of the Fumani (First wave of Humans). Legend has it that
Ondaça brought the Mitelians to the world they currently live in from
"the land where the sun sets". The world was reportedly dying, and
Ondaça, following a vision, led her people "over the horizon beyond
the horizons" to the world they currently inhabit. It is speculated by
scholars of the Prophesy that this land is what is referred to as "the
dead soul" and "the other side", and that this Prophesy foretells a
revival of the Mitelians' homeland.
It is to be noted that when this Prophesy was spoken, the Fumani had
not been arrived. audilfa "stranger" was not yet a derogatory term for
the Fumani yet, and did not become so until the arrival of the Novi in
1651 CE and their subsequent attitude towards the native Mitelians.
Audilfa in the context of the vocabulary at the time simply meant
"stranger", a person from a different country or land. Scholars
believe that it refers to the Fumani, both the Ilia and the Novi.

Some of that won't make sense because I wrote it for someone who knew about the plotline I had so far, hehe.
But... here. Just had fun recording this, and I think I did a good job, with the spooky chant and the non-English conlang type thing.
