Here it is! My very first fandub =) Everything down to the "boing-boings" were added XD Was a lot of fun to make and the cast was great!! There are definitely things that could be improved, (Like quality of the video/sfx and, err, the lip-syncing, heh) but I think it came out rather well considering. Enjoy

Hmm . . .

For a first try it was pretty good. I do think there could have been more SFX used here (there were some things that were rather glaring) but in general the mixing worked.

Camarilla: Very young-sounding, younger than I expected. I did enjoy the singing though, you have a great singing voice.

Motly Fool: Very close to the original VA's performance. If I didn't know better I could've sworn you were the original VA.

Crystal: I loved this performance. You are so good as Flounder. Possibly better than the original VA from what I can remember of the performance. I wish the clip was longer so I could've heard more. XD

Pretty good clip for a first time. I hope that you continue to improve at mixing and I can't wait to see more of this!

It was cute. :3 Some parts could be improved, and Camarilla's voice wasn't always on time with the accompaniment, but overall good.

Crystal: I think you make an adorable Flounder. :3 He sounds a lot like the original VA, maybe even better. I wish I could have heard more.

Camarilla: Your voice suits Ariel well, but I think you should work on your tone and not to cut lines short while singing. It can sometimes keep us from completely enjoying a line/note if cut too soon. But overall a good performance.

Motly Fool: Well done! I was pleasantly surprised to hear you sound so much like the original VA. I think just work on your sort of "action" sounds (like when his tail was stuck in the rock, etc).

Overall I enjoyed it a lot. :3

I don't know a whole lot about Fandub mixing, but I know what I like. For a first time dub mix this was really good, the flaps matched almost exactly throughout with the occasional not so close, but you can blame that on Youtube. (Since they like to put videos out of sync sometime.) But honestly, awesome job.

Oh, right, a little more than that. Well, first I'd like to say that for a first try this is pretty damned good. The production value in terms of audio is pristine, and also good job in with matching up flaps, especially since you used such a tedious program to do this. There's probably more you could've done with sound effects, but that's just my little nitpick. The VA's fit. Period. I loved each performance. Hehe, probably not much of a review/critique, but, just my two cents. Anyways! Great job! Keep it up!

A lot of the time when I'm watching a fandub with a cast that doesn't really entice me, I tend to wander and lose focus, often to the point of just shutting the darn thing off halfway through and watching something in the "related videos" box. However, with some precise, believable mixing and a stellar cast that brought me right back to the original film, I didn't take my eyes off this one the whole time.

Motly Fool: Your impression is fantastic, and, as others have said before, could be easily mistaken for the original. I grinned like crazy the second I heard your first line-- really awesome job.

Crystal: THE LAUGH. IT WAS PERFECT. That was the point I forgot I was even watching a fandub-- I seriously thought Kimi had just left the original VA's laugh in there, but then I had to go back and listen again to really get it into my mind that this is AVA. Just wow.

Camarilla: What is there to say? I adore your singing voice and love the original approach you took to such an iconic song-- this was a real treat for me, as the pronunciation of a lot of your words strongly reminded me of Idina Menzel, so it was kind of like hearing one of my favorite singers sing one of my favorite songs. Sweet, endearing, and very, very Ariel.

Wow, thanks for all the comments guys Rebel, SharpCookies, MrWest, Tsixin, Simbaga (Glad to hear it kept your interest, I appreciate it =D), they really mean a lot! ^^. I will take in account everything you say, so I can make the next stuff much better =)

The program I used wasn't really good for fandubbing, the video kept lagging, so I'm surprised I was able to match everything up as well as I did! lol.

Sebastian sounded very close to the origional dub, and same with Ariel! Ariel did amazing! You should have added more Sound Effects though. Flouder did pretty good! Eye like how she added a little more uniqe-ness then the other two! =3

I really enjoyed this! It's been a long time since I've seen this movie, but I thought everyone did a good job with staying true to the personalities of the characters. I do agree that there could've been some more sfx here and there and what you had sounded fantastic. Very clean.

You should be very proud of yourself - you've done a great job with this being your first fandub! I hope we do more Little Mermaid in the future. Thanks again for letting me be a part of this.

I think everyone else has pointed out some of the things I wanted to mention, so I won't repeat them. Other than what's been mentioned, I thought this was pretty good. ^^
