Nice! =D I like the range of voices you have, you seem perfect for females with deeper voices (though your higher pitched ones were great as well)!

Your Haruhi = <3 xD I just love it, it's so awesome.

You have a very impressive array of voices there. Your lower voices are really beautiful. I thought that each line you delivered for each character really showed alot of commitment and which came out very professionally.
Great job and keep up the great work!

    i love your evil laugh!

a lot of your voices seemed out of wack in sound levels, especially with the lower voices. it kind of made your demo seem dead at parts because the sound level would drop so dramatically. you definitely have an awesome range- i feel like you should showcase it a little more! don't make all your lower voices creepy/evil. how about seductive? motherly? how about some energetic voices?

the beginning voice i don't think was a really good starter. it doesn't exactly draw the listener in, you know? you have good emotions for the rest of the voices, except for the "picollo" one, where when you shouted the name it seemed as if you were just shouting his name =P.

i loved the ending =) you have an awesome lower range/evil villain voice, but i think you can do so much more with your range! the demo seemed flat even though you do seem to have more energy within you. i think including some more fast-paced characters would help.

    anyway, i hope this helps!

Thanks for all your comments so far!!

@ Snowfender: I think I understand where your coming from, but I think there is at least a slight madness to my method, if I can clarify a few things. I was originally going to use more higher voices, but as I put the demo together, most of them blended together (which I've heard as a problem in many other demo reels) and I also realized that I don't have much voice distinction in my higher range. The Yoko voice at the beginning is literally about as high and fast energied as I can go with female protagonists naturally and this demo is about what I can do, not what I want to do.

Also, the flatness may have come from the length of time spent on each character. This was my choice simply because personally I hate listening to demos where each character is sped through so fast that I don't get a chance to hear if the person is committing to much of anything and the distinction also tends to be blurred. My goal was to give people a solid feel for my strongest voices and let them infer from there.

However, I know volume levels need tweaking I'd been playing with them a lot already, maybe it needed more then.

    Thanks again!

Wow Tara! I had no idea you had such a range!! All these voices were superb, the acting was great and the voices were all authentic sounding. My only complaing is that it wasn't longer! Great mixing too, all in all excellent!

Damn, I should've seen this demo reel sooner!

I love your accents and evil voices -- definitely your forte. You've got a great range, and I didn't know you could do a little boy voice!

My only critiques that haven't been mentioned (snowfender always beats me to it xD), comes to the mixing. One of the lower, evil lines (the evil laugh one, I believe) was very low and I highered the volume to hear it only to find that the evil laugh came a bit loud. And the final part, when you said, "when you do THIS," the THIS came out pretty loud and shocked a me a bit. ^^

Still, awesome work here! I'm officially a fan >w<

Oops! *note to self to reply to comments right away before I forget about them XD*

Thanks for the comment (and critique) - I am totally becoming OCD about volume levels, so thanks for pointing out specific examples. The evil laugh one certainly needs work, though I will admit the abrupt volume change on the last one was intentional to go out "with a bang" as it were, but maybe I'll keep that a bit more subdued next time.

Glad you liked it though - thanks so much for listening
