Well, MGS inspired me to voice act. I love how it was one of the first PS games that used voice over as a means of story telling. It really inspired me to try to voice act as I loved how each and every character was given life by their respective voice actor.
    As for people who inspired me, here's my list;

    David Hayter
    Jason Marsden
    Gregg Berger
    James Arnold Taylor
    Neil Ross
    Cam Clarke
    David Kay
    Phil LaMarr
    Gregg Eagles
    Jason Axelrod
    Tamtu Bui
    Danielle Mcrae
    Crystal Lonnquist

    And of course my sister!

Well I haven't been cast for anything yet but I've wanted to do voices for cartoons since I was a kid. People like Cree Summer, Tara Strong and James Arnold Taylor inspire me. Voice acting is my biggest dream

Although it may be cliche, I was inspired by Dan Green. The man is a legend His voice is simply amazing. I told myself that I wanted to do what he does. And, you know what, I'm loving it so far.

Funimation. :3 I listened to the Dragonball Z Kai Opening (Vic Mignogna version) and i thought "who is this guy? He sounds so familiar." So I looked him up. And found out that he was quite a voice actor with a very big filmography and an even bigger discography lol. I'm a musician so that just made me like him even more. The biggest thing that made me love this guy is that I found out that he's the voice of Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist, which blew my mind. X3 From there I started searching other voice actors from the series and whatnot and stumbled into Fandubs (I previously already knew what they were) but since I had such a big interest of the voice actors at the time, I decided I wanted to try it out. So that's how I got into it. I'm only a few days into it, but so far auditioning for different Fandubs and whatnot has been very entertaining and enjoyable. XD

Well, one day, for the heck of it, my brother and I decided to do a parody dub of Cardcaptors: The Movie. From then on, we started to dub actual episodes, and even some Tsubasa, just for fun. We've come a long way since then (when we started our acting sucked, and so did our mic XD!!!) My brother, because of this, learned sound editing, and how to properly sync the lips. We learned how to display various emotions, and well, voice acting was just plain fun!! Despite the experience not being public experience, I am hoping that on this site I'll get real experience. I guess another inspiration would be the FUNimation voice actors! They sound like they're having a lot of fun dubbing, and I hope that someday I can dub anime, too!

Cartoons have had a very large impact. Then in middle school I was watching anime, and I didn't even know what it was! And then one day one of my peers gave me the startling news that these Asian like "cartoons" is the genre of Japanese cartoons, aka anime. I would always join musical shows, conducting bands and in the theater arts. I was really annoying in my childhood. I would talk a lot in and out of school, always mimicking. My first manga was Yu Yu Hakusho. I watched the anime series and the person who really got me totally into voice acting was Chuck Huber. He had this unique character-like voice and he inspired me because Hiei was indeed my favorite character. Later I began watching anime; anime he was featured in. And I sometimes.. sometimes watch anime. But, If he were to come out in another anime series I would so watch it! He is still my idol to this day. An utter goofball, who I look up to and adore.

When I was younger, I tried to imitate voices I heard on TV (usually from Digimon or something) for fun. I forgot all about it until I got into watching these Melee/Brawl machinimas and thought, "Voice acting? Sounds pretty cool, I wanna try." And it was. I'm not the greatest at it, but I've been practicing at hitting different types of tones and ranges. Also, I think it's because I hate sounding like my sister, but the former beats the latter.
