For me, it was a combination of things.
First and foremost was this special feature on a SpongeBob DVD called "Everybody's Talkin'", which featured all the actors talking about their characters, how they arrived at the voice they use, and how they get into character, even the actors who played the incidental characters. I really got into it and I admired the way they explained it, too.
Second was a segment of "Inside the Actors" that featured the main cast of "The Simpsons". It started out explaining how the actors got to where they are now...and then they had interviews with James Lipton in the forms of their characters. There was just a feeling that they were having a ton of fun with it and that they did it for the audience, too.
The reason I want to become a voice actor is because the game Tales of Vesparia me , being 15 and all can't say much but I though to myself I want to be one of them so hear I am ready to and wanting to VA![]()
Dom DeLuise. Met him at a showing of Men in Black when I was a kid, we chatted for a few minutes. Also, my older brother, who is in radio. More recently, Seth MacFarlane.
My dad is a dj/manager of a radio station... I grew up in there so I guess voice acting reminds me of my childhood...![]()

It was a combination of two, really. Orson Welles and Chris Sabbat. I learned how to alter my voice as a kid by trying to imitate Vegeta and later, when I was minoring in Theater, I came across the original 1938 War of the Worlds by the Mercury Theater on the Air. Oh how I love it.
I haven't seen the Transformers movie in a looooong time, but I know I've seen it. Citizen Kane... well, I definitely need to watch that.
And one of the best movies of all time by a lot of people. I know, I know! I just need to find a copy of it and someone to watch it with. Animated things are really all I'm willing to watch alone.
