It's more of a "what" that inspired me to look more into it, in my case.
I've always been interested in acting, whether stage or voice-only, though I have to say I prefer the vocal side of things since you don't have to worry about factors such as physical appearance. In addition to that, just hearing different VAs do their thing with both anime and otherwise intrigued me (someone also previously mentioned the Yugioh Abridged! series, and I have to agree XD). I thought it a fun thing to do and liked anything involving creativity. People also had a habit of commenting on the strange/amusing voices I could do, and how dramatically--if necessary--I could act with pals, even if it was only out of jest.
I also enjoy linking myself with the character, since as I try to capture their emotions in voice, I feel I'm living a part of their life already not to mention telling a story with it. Hearing others voice acting has sometimes made my blood boil with anger, or goosebumps crawl up my skin in anticipation and even makes me choke-up and almost cry, as little as I actually DO cry. There's a lot of room for improvement for me, but it would be awesome if I could share that with others, also, with time.
Billy West. The man who voiced Ren & Stimpy, as well as Fry, Zapp, the Professor, Zoidberg and Nixon on Futurama. After seeing a couple of panels he did at conventions, I decided to try voice acting and give it a shot. But also, I like to do impressions. My best are probably Krusty the Clown, Brian Butterfield and Meowth.
I haven't been a voice actor for very long, but I would have to say that most of the FUNimation voice actors and actresses inspired me, the most being;
Alison Viktorin (Conan from Case Closed), Laura Bailey (Tohru from Fruits Basket), Caitlin Glass (Haruhi from Ouran) and Brina Palencia (Holo from Spice and Wolf)
Those four women inspired me the most to attempt voice acting :3

Ever since I started watching anime LONG AGO and going to conventions and meeting voice actors I had always dreamed of beecoming a voice actor, mainly for animation because I love character acting. I major in Theater so I absolutely love acting, but what made me get my voice out there at last was Christina Vee. I saw an interview she had went to at a convention up on youtube and it said that she started off by auditioning for fandubs and things online, and that is how she got noticed. Even though, right now I'm doing this for fun, every project is exciting, I take it seriously, and it enhances my skills, and it's with much thanks to her!![]()
I would have to be what inspired me is playing A LOT of video games. LA Noire reeled me in with it's spot on lip sync, and then VA's like Nolan North (Dead pool) and EgoRaptor really got me. Huge props to them.
my inspiration for becoming a voice actor was from a good youtube voice actor nevet1212
My inspiration is amanda lee:]
These are the following voice actresses who've inspired me to become a voice actress (and hopefully I'll thank them in real life when I have the chance):
Kelly Sheridan
Lalainia Lindbjerg
Jillian Michaels
Willow Johnson
Moneca Stori
Kate Higgins
Laura Bailey
Kari Wahlgren
Michelle Ruff
Actually I find voice acting on accident! xD I was taking a quiz for what you wanted to be when you grow up and one of the options were voice acting. BUT I didn't look into it in till 2 years later! ^^ And currently I really want to be one but it can't be your only career~
