I should really ban you for both making the worst joke on the forum ever and insinuating that we've been romantically linked. Too bad I'm a relatively decent person.
To drag it back on topic -- I extend my most sincere of condolences to... a friend of my brother's who died in an obscenely horrible way back in April. They grew up together, shared the same birthday and had a fun plan to go sky-diving on their 21st birthday.. something that ultimately never panned out, due to his untimely death. He was a genuinely sweet guy with a lot of life left to live. :/

I extend my most sincere of condolences to my cat Charlie, because I'm pretty sure he's dead (pretty sure, not sure)
I've never met anyone who died O_o
And RIP Billy Mays, even though you were annoying D:

Nearly cried at that, FMA. My condolences for you and your grandmother.
I'll be honest, I laughed at the comparison. Terrible, I know.
Celebrity or not, disliked or not, death is death and so I hope those in the headlines who have passed are at peaceful rest.
For the innocent Sydney truckie, killed by a stray bullet from a gunfight, passing on the same day as MJ - I can't imagine what it will be like for his family not only to have to deal with his death in such an awful manner, but also the reminders that undoubtedly will come.
And ... for two of my uncles. One on each side of the family, taken four months apart.
I hope you are at peace and no longer in pain.
all the families who have had their loved ones die in the yemen, french, and any other plane crash. and all the families who have had their loved ones die in the train crashes lately as well.
this is just so awful =(
rest in peace tupac shakur

you were a martyr for peace, love and bitches
I heard the news just this afternoon, once I got home from spending a day out with my grandparents.
Here is the article:

I hope to everything it's just a cruel joke. Wikipedia has already jumped to conclusions.
Rest in Peace, Arturo. You were one of my heroes. A man who fought with heart, and always put everything he could muster into the ring. A gallant warrior, I can't imagine what enemies you could have. That anyone would want to steal your life, even hurt you beyond a sanctioned match, I can't imagine. I appreciate everything you've done. You've certainly inspired me. In fact, since I've been disillusioned with the sport, you were one of the few boxers I've come to admire. I only wish I could have told you in person. You were taken from us on what should have been one of the happiest experiences in your life. If there is anything beyond this earth, I hope something makes up for it there. My condolences to your family, and all who knew you. If this tragedy has indeed occurred, I hope your killer can be brought to justice, and that your spirit finds rest regardless. Goodbye, my friend. I will, as always, draw strength from your example.
