Finishing a session of practise with an absolutely dead throat but knowing (or hoping) that I've gotten a little better.

Submitting an audition for a contest that a bunch of your friends have also auditioned for, and not feeling any bad vibes or arrogance from any of them at all. Friendly competition does exist after all.

Chyah right, Imma gonna beat you so hard at this contest, that I'll be excelled as a pro instantly and ship off to Texas to dub the next big anime :p

Related, I can't believe I can actually come up with something if I don't think too long and hard about it. I am pretty glad that some talented people got to the call back stage, but disappointed that the deserving people get the pass.

Just looking through the callbacks, I'm seeing a lot of names I recognise and that is really really awesome. Well done you guys, and to everyone else who made it! Obviously tons of great talent around.

Little VA happy moments.....

When I get to do emotional or action scenes. Those are so fun!

When my recordings don't distort. Yay!

That even if I get recasted as a character I did not originally audition for, I end up getting a way better role (this actually happened...I got recasted as someone kick@ss!)

As a producer, when a va hands in lines early. The little organizer inside of me loves that we'll be able to get retakes and everything done by the deadline date so it's all finished on time.

When I see my name appear in the cast list of the project that I auditioned for!! Nothing can compare to that feeling... Ohh.. and also, recording a demo reel and having a blast doing it.. No stress.. Still lots of room for improvement yet very satisfying!
