I don't want to be on any blacklists, sooo, I guess I'll comment. xD

Seriously, though, thanks to Zank for recommending this to me! It really was a pleasure to listen to. I admit I was a bit confused at first, but as I kept listening, it just got better and better. The talent is amazing and for those playing more than one character, you couldn't even tell it was the same person! So kudos to those.

The story and mixing..wow. It just all flowed very well. Just amazing. Very well done to you all!

This was an entertaining listen. I find it interesting that you opened with the climax of another story before beginning the main story, kind of making the rising action of the main story the falling action of the previous one. It's a good way to set things up.

Mixing wise, it was very good, though there were a few lines that could have used some amplification. One or two of The Hero's lines got a little muddled by sound effects and Slithers in general felt quieter than the others, though I realize part of that is just his voice. Speaking of voice, time for individual critiques…

XTREEMAK - Nice and grumpy performance as the bartender, which I think was helped by the gruff, deeper voice you gave him. That said, your performance as John totally eclipsed it, and that’s not a bad thing. The voice itself was, well, cool, and add that to the calm delivery and it fit the stone cold lone gunman character extremely well. Definitely one of the standout performances.

    Druoxtheshredder
    – Conor’s old prospector voice kind of grated on me and I think made delivering serious lines a little harder, although that may have been the intention. Karl made up for it though. I liked the voice, felt the accent was played just right and the drawling delivery felt right at home.

Fairuza – As The Hero you had really nice intensity to play up the whole righteous fury thing, although your mic kind of let you down on the final yell by peaking really hard. There’s not much you can do about that, though. Sean was also quite good, I couldn’t tell it was you until I checked the cast list. However, while may sound odd too say considering the drama with the first two roles, but I think the waitress ended up as my favorite performance. Not only did she sound tough, but downright unstable, which made things all the more entertaining. The only flaw was the lack of differentiation between the waitress and the hero, but that’s more a casting decision and one I can’t exactly fault considering the performances.

Usako – You made for a pretty convincing old lady as Serin. Your voice cracked into a higher pitch a couple times, but in general it was quite consistent. I found myself a little distracted by Miranda’s accent which seemed a little out of place, but that may have been what was requested in auditions, so I can’t fault that too much.

Bell45 – I liked the soldier's voice, but I think it restricted the acting a little bit. In general delivery was pretty good, but there were a few times it felt kind of stiff, like you were trying for the right emotion but had trouble hitting it with the voice. Randy had a similar issue, though for him it was more a matter of understanding what he was saying than anything emotional. They're not big problems, really, I think it's just a matter of making the voices more natural to act in.

DragonBoy – Pretty solid here, although sometimes the rasp dominated the voice a bit. I think the delivery was mostly there and I like where you're going with the voice, but maybe just try to open up with it a bit more.

Havekreekel – Nicely done. The spineless cowering and whimpering played off of the waitress really well to round out their scenes.

Ravenight – Wish you had a better mic, but no complaints about your line.

Yeah, I know some of these people aren’t on the VAA, but hey, you never know who might be lurking. Hope these critiques help you guys out. Looking forward to hearing more.
