Synopsis
(Horror, Drama, Psycho-thriller)
Set in modern day Japan. People live their lives striving to become significant, or give meaning to their existence. Wanting to say things like, “I just got that big promotion!” and “I just graduated top of my class!” or even “I served my country, as should you all.” Of course, in this society these are nothing but delusions, silly dreams that act to give us meaning, but not a true purpose in life.
“The Monster” has arrived, a serial mass-murderer who travels the world in search of those he deems worthy of the “True Answer” to that very question. That answer of course being: DEATH. Every human being will eventually die in accordance to nature’s will; it is the one constant that we all can count on. That is the true meaning of life, though when is the mystery.
The killer’s next target: Tokyo, Japan. Detectives Kiyoshi Matsumoto, Jiro Satō, and Miyuki Hayashi are in pursuit of this psychotic executioner. But they themselves are about to become victims in his sick game. No one is safe-all shall perish. This is Plagam extremam infligere.

Name: Haru Kimura
Age: Mid-to-late 30s
Bio: Haru was a very handsome man; he had always wanted the perfect family. A family the opposite of his own. And he got just that and more. Having been married to his wife Akina for many years they had two children, Ai and Tomi. He’s very outgoing and knows when it’s time for someone to go outside their comfort zone. A great man. If only it was gonna last.
Voice type: medium-low. Very natural and normal sounding, somewhat sarcastic, fun-loving, jokester

Name: Tomi Kimura (Toe-me)
Age: 6
Bio: Full of adventure and youthful insight, Tomi makes the best out of everything, he loves having fun with his little friends and often times goes out to his friend Toyo’s house to play video games. Usually his mother drives him to his friend’s house, but today, Haru believes Tomi should try to walk it so he can experience new things. Unfortunately this doesn’t work out so well for little Tomi- don’t’ worry, he doesn’t die, but he does face something worse then death.

Name: Det. Kiyoshi Matsumoto
Age: Early-to-Mid 30s
Bio: DetectiveKiyoshiMatsumoto has been a crime fighter for many years now. Helping solve some of Tokyo’s biggest cases with his partner. In most cases he’s seen as the good-cop in a good-cop-bad-cop situation. He’s extremely loyal to his department and would gladly take a bullet for his co-workers. But even he can’t anticipate the emotional impact “The Monster” case has on him. He will have to make the choice between sticking to protocol or breaking it to save the people he cares about.

Name: Det. Jiro (Euro) Satō
Age: Early-to-Mid 30s
Bio: Detective Jiro Satō is Kiyoshi’s hard-as-nails partner, having recently been reassigned to Kiyoshi’s department after an “incident” at his old one, though he doesn’t talk much about the past. He’s tough and rough often times wanting to break protocol to get things set straight in “his own way.” In some ways his conservative qualities might actually help save lives, or ultimately destroy even more then anticipated.
Voice type: Medium-low. Tough, Cool, Outlandish (Do not over exaggerate his voice, he’s not always angry.)

Name: Mitch Johnson
Age: Late 30s-to-early-40s
Bio: The author of the best selling book, “You can’t catch the Monster” an American who knows “The Monster” case better then anyone. There was a point where he grew obsessed with the case and often times intervened with real police investigations to come down to his own conclusions on what exactly made the monster tick. All though he has never seen his face or been in his presence, he acts as if he knows for certain the Monster’s every move. Some would call him a money whore who cashed-in on tragedy; others would call him the “good” counterpart of the Monster.
Voice type: low.

Name: Hiroki The Forensics dude
Age: late-20s-to-early-30s
Bio: The man who lives for the evidence. This is the man to come to when you need to figure out the identity of a killer. He’s one of the best finger-print analysts in the city. But ever since The Monster arrived nothing is the same for him. He instantly becomes stumped at what he finds out after analyzing the Monster’s finger prints, and the results may shock you.

Name: Akina Kimura
Age: Mid-to-late-30s
Bio: A loving mother and wife, Akina got married to Haru at a young age but feels ultimately it was worth it. She lived happily with her husband and her two kids, never missing a moment. She always drove little Tomi to his friend’s house and lived each day as a caring and happy parent. If only another would have seen it that way.
Voice type: Medium-high. Natural, A little younger, somewhat sexy (Don’t over exaggerate the sexy part!)

Name: Ai Kimura
Age: 17-18
Bio: Was the young and beautiful daughter of Akina and Haru. She’s seen as the typical girly-girl older sister, always talking to her many boyfriends on the phone and sneaking out for late nights. She often times always chased her little brother Tomi around because of his threats to tell on her for her actions, despite the fact her parents already know. In the end beauty is not always a good thing to have, sometimes beauty brings terrible consequences.

Name: Det. Miyuki Hayashi
Age: Late-20s-to-mid-30s
Bio: Detective Miyuki Hayashi is sharp and sassy. She joins Kiyoshi and Jiro in their investigation, she herself has a lot of cases on her resume but, like many others, “The Monster” case is the most personally charged case. Especially after an event sets her off, but who would blame her? What she, Kiyoshi, and Jiro discover is truly evil and horrid. In the past she has been noted as being close to Jiro, though this has not bee officially confirmed.
