This will propeply piss off some people and those here who lost anybody in that tsunami turn away.

Acouple of days ago a friend of mine who was in thailand that day came home and I spoke with him and it turns out that Thailand knew about the flood coming, but they didint warn because of tourist buisness..in other words they are making money and dont wanna lose it now. But here is a fine print for ya nom nuts! You cant even make money now either since the flood nearly killed everybody and removed most of the tourist attraction which is the country it self. Now when human call them self inteligent how come they slave over a object that doest live. If i had a gf down there who died first thing i would think about is GUN STORE! this just pisses me off.

WHAT THE HELL!! Those IDIOTS! *mummble grumbles rant rave KILL*

What I found interesting was that there were no wild animals found dead anywhere. Meaning they all had the sense to run away...

Animals are smarter than us, they can sense when these things are going to happen.

I bet all their money floated away in the water anyways, lol.

    Yeah, this was already well-known.

Nothing you can really do about it.

Damn it! That makes me feel sick!! I had an uncle who died down there and my mom is heart broken. I'm not quite as distraught as her because i hardly knew him, but i'm still grieving and i swear, i'd go down there and hunt down the asses who kept it a secret! Sorry, i read your warning but to be honest, your warning made me wanna read this even more.
What is worse about keeping such an important secret like that from the poor ppl of Thailand, who'd be affected, is it's pretty much the same as murdering their own people! That makes me feel more sick than the thought of my Uncle being killed! That may sound harsh, but the reality is that there's only one of him but a LOT more people who have been killed too. This isn't meant to be racist in the slightest bit cus i'd be the last person who'd be racist, but my brothers have been to Thailand before, and from what they've told me, they seem to have a very crazy culture. So that may have something to do with it too. But that's still no excuse! Damnit! I payed £90 of my x-mas money toward the Tsunami aid and i wish i could volenteer to help them, but i know that if i went down there, i'd probably have a break down or something because i'm really sensitive and seeing all the dead bodies would really affect me.
Damnit, i wish none of this happened! And i hope the people who kept this sick secret would be found so they could rot in hell!

my condolence for your losses... Another thing is that the rain in america was not even either warned ( i dont live in the state so i dont really know) But in an internet radio a guy said that it propeply wont be warned so he just do it anyway and it turned out he was right..

another thing is that you must be careful who you donate your money too.. I know that The red cross use half of the money they get in...cuz they most "save" incase the next situation like that happens. In the Twin tower incident they got alot of money which they used about half but they stoped it because of saving and people working in the red cross like those who does help not taking in the money got pissed about this which i believe anybody with a head on its right place(not up in the ass) would agree thats sick. Believe it or not People thing of money more then lives.

What is sick, saving money for a future relief fund?

    That's not sick, that's SMART.

That's really sick what the red cross are doing! I dontated half of my money to the Red Cross and the other half to Oxfam, which are thankfully very reliable.

Its both smart and sick because what u donate when they say "For the people in the tsunami area" you are donating for them not for the futures disaster. Everyone that donated was donating of what was going on then..not for what was going to happen.
Do a little backcheck on the company you wanna donate for before actualy donating.

    Here's two points:

    1. Example: Ted donated $1000 to the Red Cross after 9/11. $500 goes to helping with the Twin Towers and, a few years later, $500 more goes to helping those hit by the tsunami. Ted has NO reason to be pissed off.

    2. You are not donating your money to the victims of this disaster. To do so, you would need to go there and hand out currency to each one of them. The Red Cross is a relief organization. They provied help after any kind of disaster. As long as your money is helping people somewhere, who cares? It's not lining someone's pockets, it's still helping people.
