You two just destroyed the official dub!! I think RedGame did amazing as Satoko. The crying came across as very real, and I salute her for that. ichigo_m, I gotta say, your profile pic and sign are very appropriate ;D

My critique would be: I feel there were parts that you could have screamed louder, ichigo. Parts like at 4:06 for example where Shion's eyes bug out. But, Shion is definately one of the hardest female roles to play out in the dub world, so major props on your performance!

Awesome clip though. I agree that ichigo_m could have been more hysterical and insane with her screams at Satoko, but that was pretty much it! Mixing was pretty well done too.

Ah yes I remember this scene, then again who can forget it? I always seem to watch it at night for some reason, which is probably goes hand in hand with my level on how creepy it is.....along with the blood and stabbing of course...

You better count your blessings that I didn't. if I actually did voice Satoko, that alone would of been more scary than the whole anime itself. xD

and for future reference everyone, the "g" in "Redgame" is not capitalized. Its understandable why you guys would do that (and it has happened many times before by others) but I'm just saying xD. Anyway, enough of my stupidity and on to the critique!

That honestly sounded professional (in my opinion anyway) The emotion given was fantastic, I have to agree with BlueShadow with the fact that the crying did seem very real...maybe it was...who knows. Awesome job all in all.

Yet another great performance. Shion is a rather hard role to get through, and while I didn't think it was absolutely spot on, you did give her a nice "more creepy than scary" feel, kind of like joker from the dark night, only your not a dude and you probably don't do drugs either..............xD

Anyway, as far as Mion goes, also a nice job, yet another hard role due to the similarities with Shion (*cough*duh*cough*) Yet it felt a bit weird to me during the part where she continues to repeat "I'm sorry". The reason why is after awhile, when you brought up your pitch towards the end of her repeating, you honestly started to sound like a whining puppy xD watch yourself there and bring it down just a tad next time.


Now that I am done critiquing the lovely ladies voices (xD) I shall now move on to my line.


Redgame:

Ah yes, gotta love those one liners! I didn't even audition or anything, I was just told to do a line, and being the nice guy I am, I agreed to do so. I thought I did pretty good this time actually (and I say that without being self-absorbed)


and last but not least, the mixing


Mixing:

Fantastic mixing, everything tied in great. Absolutely spot on, that's really all I have to say (yeah I know, I'm lame xD)

I can't really say anything different than what everyone else said...this was awesome, and it is one of my absolute favorite clips in Higurashi.

Katurinu, man you can scream and you can cry. The two things that I absolutely fail at. xD

RedGame, one-liners make the entire series complete! I remember once my friend couldn't find anyone to voice this one guy and in the end she made Microsoft Sam do it xD.

ichigo_m....*shudders* You did awesome! The only thing that I caught was that during some of the calmer lines your emotion sounded a bit off, like you were focusing on the more difficult lines than the easier, simple ones. (It's mostly the "What" in the beginning).

Anyhow, I absolutely LOVED it. Now excuse me as I'm gonna have a nightmare of that final evil laugh.....
