Hello ladies and gentlemen of the VAA. Most of you have no clue who I am, but some Motly Fool thought it'd be better if the rookie posted this topic. Regardless, Motly and I are in desperate need of your help. We've only known each other for a few weeks and we recently found out we are both very big fans of the Digimon series. Long story short, we wanted to try our hand at some of our favorite Digimon and see who could do the best impressions.
That's where you fine people come in. We need you to judge our impressions and let us know who's better and who needs to pack it in. We selected a total of 10 Digimon and below are the first five we would like you to judge.
Just to make this clear, this contest is all in good fun. Motly and I are good friends, or as good as you can be in the span of a few weeks, and we are much more interested in your feedback than anything else. Any and all comments are welcome, both positive and negative, just keep it appropriate.
So without further ado, let the showdown begin. The challenge was to simply imitate the voices as best we could. This is not a mixing competition as neither of us is great at it. But we each had some interesting Easter eggs thrown in. We hope you enjoy.
The first five Digimon will be Falcomon (Season five), Gaomon (Season five), Agumon (Season five version), Guilmon (Season three) and finally Wormmon (Season two).
For the Digimon from season five, here is a YouTube video with the original voices for Agumon (Brian Beacock), Gaomon (Skip Stellrecht) and Falcomon (Steven Blum). Double click on the video to open it in a separate tab.

First up, Falcomon:

Wolf
We continue the showdown with Gaomon:
Motly Fool
Wolf
And rounding out season five is a returning veteran, Agumon:
Motly Fool
Wolf
Hopefully you're still interested because up next, we have the lovable Guilmon (Steven Blum) from season 3. Blum makes a repeat apperance on our showdown. Here is a YouTube clip that includes him preforming all of Guilmon's digivolutions.

And now it's our turn. Guilmon is coming at you:
Motly Fool
Wolf
Personally, I think that's going to be a real close one. Nice job Motly. Rounding out the first five is the tentative, but kind spirited Wormmon (Peter St. Paul) from season two. Here is a pair of videos featuring the original voice actor, Mr. St. Paul himself.

This should be interesting. Wormmon closes out the first round of five:

Comments:
Simply write in the name of the person you think came closest to matching the original voice. Or maybe you thought someone was better than the original. Then by all means, vote that person as the winner. This is a little easier then a plethora of polls littering the topic.
You'll also notice a comments section at the end. That is so you can let us know exactly what's on your mind. What stood out to you? Is my Agumon voice terrible? Does Motly perform Guilmon better then Steve Blum? Did one of the human voices we did catch your attention? Are we both terrible? I sure hope not, but if that's the case please let us know.
While we would both like to be perfect at every voice, we realize there is always room for improvement. So it's imperative to hear from the general audience. We can't practice and get better if we don't hear from you guys. So please, vote and comment. When looking over the files, click on the "More from" tab to see all 10 audio files listed. This makes it easier to go back and review the impressions.
We thank you for your time and we hope to have the final five Digimon posted fairly soon.
