Last night I finished this, After learning that demos should be under one minute (crazy short) So uhh, here it is.
All the lines in here are either auditions, stuff from my old demo, stuff from completed projects, or lines for other peoples projects. Some of the voices/characters are, Juliet, Michiru, Mion/Shion, Rosette, Kagami, Baka pink and more. Please emjoy and tell me how to improve. Thanks

I like your voices, they seem rather unique but are not showing your range that I'm sure you have. ^__^ Try going higher or lower.

your emotions were all pretty good overall, with great energy on some of them. however, all of your voices seemed pretty similar, with the only difference being a pitch change or a change in emotion.

you have a good medium-high to high range and you definitely have a pleasant voice to listen to, but i feel like you can definitely do more variations. some more lower voices? boy voices? or, even with your natural pitch, try making a different character out of it- a valley girl? a timid girl? try to make it so that there are different characters talking and not just you changing your pitch. you definitely are really talented! can't wait to hear more from you! =)

Emotion-wise, it's all in check, ichigo_m. However, I agree with snowfender and Recowa. There was a lack of versatility with respect to ranges. It sounded pretty much like the same voices over and over.

    Keep at it, youngster!

Pretty good, especially for AVA standards. The music and SFX were very good. You've definitely got a very unique voice that could be used for a lot of different roles. Even things like commercials, narration, or other more serious types of work.

However, from this demo, you're really focusing way too much on landing a certain type of role. If I were to scout people for an original cartoon, radioplay, or audiobook, I'd probably skip over this demo. I know you'd be able to do it from listening to your demo, I can definitely tell you have the potential, but all I can think of is anime for that demo.

It's very easy to tell that all you had were anime characters in mind (other than you telling us directly ). The emotions, the lines, and the voices were all very anime-based, very influenced by that style of acting. Instead of having specific characters in mind when you're doing a demo, try to just come up with characters using the voices you're good at or enjoy doing. By doing that, you'll . Then, instead of people automatically saying, "Oh, that's a good Kagami impression", they'll have to create a visualization in their mind of what kind of character that would fit, and they'll have a much easier time casting you for a character based on a voice in your demo.

Your voice is amazing, very clear yet passionate. However, this demo suggests that you lack variety in the voices you can do. Try experimenting with your voice, especially with doing more mature voices. Those are very hard to come by on this board, and if you can pull off an older woman, you'll open up a whole new market for roles.

As for acting is pretty good, but once again is very anime-based. They kind of seemed stereotypical and almost dialed in at some points, but I don't think it's your lack of acting ability. I think it has more to do with you thinking of someone else who's voiced that certain character. This is why I suggest writing your own lines and creating your own characters. The person who writes the script is the best at delivering it. Also, it was somewhat hard to understand what you're saying sometimes, like the line is faded out, but that may be your microphone or Youtube. If you want, you can send me a sample of some of your recordings so I can check it out.

You have an amazing voice, most would kill to be able to have that kind of beautiful yet attentive voice. I'll make sure to keep you in mind in the future. This is good for an anime demo reel, you should definitely keep this separate and show to people looking to cast for specific anime roles. However, I think you should try to make another character demo reel.

PS: Sorry if that came out as mean or anything. I just trying to help you reach your full potential

PSS: Youtube is good for exposure, but bad for quality. Try streaming it on other audio sites too. Newgrounds actually has quick, high quality streaming for the audio portal.

Holy queso, that is an amazing critique. Oo
    Thank you.

I've tried writing my own lines before but usually they end up very cheesy. Xd
I always have a hard time with demo reels XD
I either put too much emotion and not enough voices or to many voices and no emotion XD
Thank you once again, I'll keep this in mind. =D

Cheesy can be good, especially for comedic voices! For writing lines, I suggest creating a character based off a voice you do, then put them in a serious situation and write down how you think they would react. That's my best advice. Just remember, cheesy is a lot better than stereotypical-overplayed-serious lines.

As for acting, that's definitely something common among anime voice actors/actresses, they're so used to working with so many creative boundaries that they have trouble creating new voices with real emotion. They have to voice a certain character from a different language, still keeping the same emotions, while matching the lip flaps. It's really difficult.

You need to branch out. Anime dubs are such a small piece of the gigantic puzzle.

PS: Send me a sample of one of your lines. I want to see what I can do with the quality.
