You should have sold the car is a thriller romance about two teens in love, beating all odds, (their parents, the lack of money, their self confidence, even death,) to be together. A car salesman gets a persistent customer who is desperate to sell her car. She gives him a diary of two teens trying to make the decision whether to run away from home, to get married or not. Maybe Annie, the customer who was looking to sell her car, should have done it sooner! Now it could be too late.
Warning: This original radio play has some mild language. Bill the car salesman and Lucy's mother are the only characters who let the occasional swear slip out.
