I finally got around to recording this again now that I have my new microphone. I actually redid it for the Boxtorrents Idol competition. XD;;;

Anyway, I am personally VERY pleased with it, even if I did have to save it like fifty million times because my levels were bad... XD;;

First off I love this song!

I think in a few spots the music over powered you. ):
Also on the high notes let your voice out girl, no need to hold back you have a wonderful voice. Amazing at the chorus, but once again the music overpowered your lovely voice ):

Wow! Such talent! Now only are you an amazing artist, but you have a beautiful voice! I agree with ichigo_m, don't be afraid of the high notes! They are much fun, much fun.

I'm starting to wonder if my speakers are messed up or something. I resaved it like eighty times to fix the levels, and it sounded perfect on my computer, but to you guys (and on my Mom's computer) I couldn't hear myself well.. I think I need a new set of speakers. XD

However! Thank you very much for the feedback! I'll try to make my vocals louder in my next song, which I'm working on now... I really do appreciate the feedback though, since the only feedback I had gotten before this is laughter... *sang it at a talent show and was laughed at, probably because it wasn't in English?*

Ooo, I've been waiting to hear you sing, and I really like your voice a lot! It's very pleasant sounding, and you have a beautiful tone! You also have great control.

I agree with the others on the sound though; it was hard to hear you over the music. You have really good recording quality though.

Oh, and did I mention how perfect your vibrato is? Well, it's beautiful!

Now I gotta get a song up here XD you've given me inspiration to get my butt in gear!

Hi Hikaroo! When I saw that you had done a cover of this lovely ending theme, I had to take a look. This is certainly one of my most adored themes ever (I loved the movie also) and it's a pleasure to hear someone cover it.

My first impression of your voice was that of pleasant surprise. Having not heard your voice before, I foolishly assumed it would sound younger, but you sound pretty grown up, haha. That's not a bad thing. Anyway, having been so used to hearing a slightly higher pitch in the original, your slightly lower pitch was a good change. I really enjoyed your faithfulness to the tones and rhythm of the song throughout, and your enunciation and accurate pitches were very much on par. I couldn't help but sing along like I always do. As was said by ValkyrieCeles, your vibrato was a lovely addition, as was your recording quality.

Little things that I did notice were how once in a while, it seemed as though you were staggering your breathing before getting your next one. Not entirely noticeable but thought that may have held you back a small bit. I can also understand being a bit wary of those high notes - you're naturally alto, am I right? Again, that didn't hinder your wonderful cover, and no one wants to do falsetto if they can help it. =]

Overall, really beautiful job, Hikaroo. I can tell you really like this song just from your vocals. You even inspired me to get cracking on my own cover. XD Hope you do well in that Idol contest and look forward to checking more of your work in the future. =]

I wish I had seen your post before!

The staggering is probably from where I was recording each line one at a time so that my timing would stay in sync. If I record straight up, it sounds better overall, but gradually the timing becomes off. :/

I am naturally an alto. XD I used to have a huge range, but I fell out of practice. I used to be able to sing Tenor, Alto and most Soprano.

I am totally bumping this to share that I made it into round two of the BoxTorrents Idol competition!

So I'm going to make multiple songs and hope for feedback on which to choose for round two! XD
