As work on the animatic for my first animated movie draws to some sort of completion, I need to recruit VAs for particularly important minor roles.
The recruitment is currently ongoing (until I find the right voices). More smaller various roles shall be added later in the year.
Project Information
Outcast Hero is a fantasy/adventure story centered on the exploits of a guy named Muxlowe Daemyn - unexpectedly thrust into the limelight after his unique abilities save his planet from a universally-feared threat. Muxlowe's inability to handle fame results in a horribly oversized ego, which consequently lands him and several others in a whole heap of trouble many miles from home. Specie-bending, disproportionate phobias, giant lasers, fights with robots and clingy fangirls ensue!
Audition deadline - March 15th (for inclusion into the animatic for test screening). General deadline is currently ongoing.

Character Roles
There are a lot of minor roles available. The list is constantly updated and it would be advisable to continue checking back on it for updates.
MALE CHARACTERS
Name: Mukesh
Picture
Age: Unknown, could be several hundred years
Bio: Alchemite advisor to Prince Phomello. Mukesh almost always wears a mask, scarf and cape to disguise his species.
Voice type: Calm, serious, resounding, possibly foreboding. Somewhere between baritone and bass.
Audition line 1: If an enchantment is already in place, no physical contact needs to be made in order to undo it.
Audition line 2: Nineteen years ago, your parents granted you the chance to live some kind of normal life. They begged a close friend of theirs to go against the Code of Transmutation and disguise their son so he could grow up in peace and without prejudice.
Name: Chief Gajulo
The one at the very top with the headdress
Age: late 60s
Bio: Leader of the Gurriko clan. Despite his chief status, he doesn't sound like a Native American chief. His lines sound a bit like he's announcing something.
Voice type: Cheerful, bombastic, extravagant. Something in baritone.
Audition line 1: *impressed* Such a reckless manoeuvre, barrelling into it like that. I never thought I’d be saying this to a human but, we owe you our lives for it! You’re a hero, son!
Audition line 2: *turns to his clan* All hail the flying saviour of the sky! Let us prepare a celebration in his honour!
FEMALE CHARACTERS
Name: Elani Daemyn
On the Right
Age: Mid 50s
Bio: Chimerite, Muxlowe's mother. Of sweet and generally mild-tempered disposition, she has a tendency to worry about a lot of things. One thing she will happen to get riled up about is injustice to her son, however.
Voice type: Soft, warm tones most of the time. More snappy/reprimanding tones when angered. Medium-high voice, not sounding like one of those stereotypical old ladies.
Audition line 1: *saddened* I’m sorry. I do appreciate your help, and I’m very proud of my son and what he’s managed to achieve. I just wish that Muxlowe [mucks-loh] could find time to visit me once in a while.
Audition line 2: *angry* You’re happy to see the back of him, aren’t you? Ever since he was given your job, you’ve held nothing but envy over his progress. If I didn’t know better I’d think you had played a part in all this!
Audition line 3: *broken-hearted* After all the time I’d been worried sick, thinking you had been abducted…but I guess you really wanted to distance yourself from me….

Since this is a movie in its pre-production stages, all I ask is that applicants show patience and enthusiasm. You may be asked for retakes and additional lines as the movie content is refined/extras are decided. Keeping tabs on the Outcast Hero development blog is not compulsory, but recommended.
I look forward to hearing all your auditions and hopefully getting to work with some of you!

I'll send something as soon as I can!
