Hello guys! I thought that while you are eagerly awaiting the release of Episode 4 of Dragonball Z2, why not hold an FAQ special? A number of different questions were asked of me connected to my Audio Drama Dragonball Z2. And here are your long awaited answers! Enjoy! This is the first FAQ WestSociety has ever produced!

Episode 4 is in the wings, I just need a few more lines and I'll get it started!

Yep, good expanation on the Goten/Trunks motivation part. While you were describing I could see myself in their shoes as they had their wake up call (except the fact that I'm not a fighter XD but that's what acting is for, right?)

{I have been working on writing my sequel series to YYH for 5 years and only have 23 episodes done (20 online, 3 being run over by my editors) even though I have over 10 sagas planned and many of the later happenings outlined} How do you do it?! How much time have you put into this {like for me it usually takes me an hour to write up a page}? Any tips for others who are aspiring with their series to keep their motivation? What rewards/satisfactions have you gained from working on Z2?

I guess I'll just answer that question right now. Well, I was quite young when I first started writing Z2 back in '03, so I had a crazy imagination and went crazy writing these. But... as time went on this kinda went off my radar because the website I posted it on wasn't doing it for me in terms of reviews. (Very little reviews were given to me.) And I just didn't really bother to continue writing it, so I kept it on that website and updated it every few weeks, eventually I decided to let some other people view the story on a DBZ forum, it was the best decision I had ever made cause when it was posted many members of the fourm commented on it. Those comments gave me the motivation I needed to continue writing it, they kept wanting more so I gave it to them happily, and eventually reviews started picking up on the orginal website too, so I had to appease a lot of people! It became a regular thing in my life and I continue to update it to this day. (Well, I haven't updated it since december, but plan to soon. lol.)

As for the story, I've had it mapped out in my head for years. Pretty much all 9 sagas I have planned out with some possible leahway space before the final saga (Not sure what I'd do at that point.) and the comments on it only made the process of getting my ideas out faster.

On average it takes me about an hour to write an episode too but since I already had an idea on what I wanted to do for that episode I can get each once done fairly quickly.

Of course, Z2 was not my first attempt at telling this story, there were two other stories I tried to write using the same concepts as Z2 only a bit different, but they were terrible, terrible, stories. It wasn't until 2003 that I decided I wanted to capture the style of the actual series to a science.

I can't tell you how good it is to hear a success story in scipt format! At my last con, I went to a fanfiction panel and they said NO to that format and that people won't read it and scripts are for producers and not for the public to see, and when I asked about a grammer thing for my script writing (as an actor, in class you learn certain breathing with certain punctuation---but me putting things in that way made my grammatical editor point out lots of mistakes in my grammer -_-). They all (as in the panelist AND everyone else in the room) berated me for even considering posting in such a way -_-

It made me want to write a story about someone who was pretty successful and went to a training to get better and was told that "don't do that, people don't like it" when in reality those things are what the people were liking because of freshness and ahead of its time XD

btw, there isn't a YYH forum like your DBZ one is there? I know of the FUNimation forum, but they have a strict "no fanfiction" rule there.

I'm not too sure on any YYH forums. You always check Google or any Invison free forums, that's where I posted DBZ2 once, it's what made it big.

And I too, have experienced some criticisms from my format, but I tell people you either love it or hate it, if you don't like my form then don't say anything or read it. Simple. I've vocally expressed this on more then one occasion. (Well... typed. lol)

This was an awesome idea. I am not really a DBZ fan, but I listened just because it was an audio FAQ...which I've never heard. But this was really entertaining to listen to for me. I can imagine that it would be more so to people that like DBZ. Excellent, excellent job!

Nice! I too am not a DBZ fan, but I liked hearing the audio FAQ format. Good answers to the questions, I hope you do this for other productions your making!
