What makes you sad/cry?

I did a search to find this thread, and if I didn't see it and if anyone else did, you may lock this thread.

Anyway, what makes you sad and/or cry?

Me... When I listen to music and a certain tune strikes a chord at a horrible and/or sad event in my life (i.e. "Walk with Me" by Joe Budden, "Bleeding Words" by Mobile, "(*Fin)" by Anberlin, etc.), I start to break out into tears. Because of what unfolded.

I wish I could give an example, but I have WAY too many and I can't remember them all.

So many things make me sad, but I very rarely cry about things.
Usually, I don't even cry about death until it becomes too overpowering like this summer when I lost around 8 people whom I know, 2 within my family.

I may cry at a movie, but only if it is put together very nicely.
I cried at "My Dog Skip", the first "Pokemon" movie [I know >.>] and I cried during "Kanon 2006" but that's all I can remember just now.

omg. That was the first movie I ever cried to. There have been only four movies that I have ever cried to -- "My Dog Skip," "Marley and Me," (partly because I knew what was going to happen and I'm a sucker for dog movies), "A Walk to Remember," and "We Are Marshall" (I have no idea why I teared up after the movie. Probably because teamwork and whatnot).

Other than sad movies, I have only cried when either really close family members or friends have passed away (but there has not been a lot) or when I'm reading a good book and my favorite character dies (I sobbed after some squirrel in Brian Jacques' Martin the Warrior died -- since he was basically the coolest character ever).

Dogs dying is what really gets me. Especially if they have cancer since my first dog, a Welsh Corgi died of that when I was in fourth grade and it broke my heart...

I hardly ever cry, but I can get this overwhelming sadness that makes me feel like I should cry, but I just can't.

Usually, when I get sad, it's over something stupid. Most of it has to do with my friends...

I get sad when...
- I'm afraid I'll lose out my friends to someone else and they'll act like I don't exist.
- My friends ignore me.
- My friends are in despair or hurt in someway
- My friends and I are in a fight...

Rejection is something that also saddens me; in general, anyway.

But there are other reasons, too. I get sad a lot, and even to the point where one of my friends tells me that it isn't good for someone my age... T_T (Thanks for caring, by the way~)

Not alot makes me cry, or even sad really XDD
But there are still a couple things that depress me... if only for a couple minutes... (I'm not normal, I tell ya o.O )

- The memory of the day I had to put my dog, Cleo, to sleep. She died in such a horrible way, so it hurts when I think about it... and it was almost a year ago...
- The end of Pretear... I don't know why... but it tears me up... XD;;
- The scene in Higurashi where Satoko is finally released from Teppei tears me up as well.
- The scene in Witchblade where is looks like Masane is dead, and Rihoko is crying...

Ugh, i think i tear up waay too easily, which is embarassing to say, but ah well.

The main moments i can remember truly crying so much would probably be:

-When my first Cat had to be put down, i hated that so much, it didn't feel right coming home without my cat being there
-When my Uncle died, thing was i wasn't very close to him, as he died when i was fairly young, so i only got to see him once or twice, but my older sister was crying so much that it made me cry

There's probably a ton of other moments where i've cried but i really can't remember many >_<

Switch the boyfriend to girlfriend and i know what you mean. When practically all my friends have girlfriends and then i'm there, i feel like tag along or something... it sucks >_<

I cry at EVERYTHING! I am not joking...

For example; if one of my favourite teddys (D was ripped and not able to be fixed...I would act like the world has eneded! D:

- Movies OMG! There are SO MANY moves! (Starts to list; Sweeney Todd, Tuck Everlasting, GOSH there are so many! I cant even name them!)
- Ending of a book serise I love D: (I cried at the end of Breaking Dawn...T_T )
- When I am scared (I am terrified of Spiders, I will seriously start crying! D
- When I am fighting with a friend...
- When my boyfriend had to move to Nova Scotia (Cried for 3 months T_T on and off )
- When my friends and loved ones are hurting
- Funerals (Only been to one...and that is going to be the only one for a while D

Gosh I cant even name alot what makes me cry XD! There is alot!

the hero/heroine goes through rough times . yeah xD Or
watching a romantic anime and the guy/girl doesn't get what
she/ he wants ? yeah >.> My friend's think it's weird for me to cry
due to anime xD.

I don't really cry that much honestly, but that doesn't mean I don't cry or get sad.

- When someone I know gets hurt, like my friends or family, like when my sister got hit by a car, It was so scary and I was so depressed.
- Having to get rid of my pets, so many experiences that depresses me, especially while me and my family were traveling we had to get rid of our cat, I miss my little cat charlie so much, I love him
- Moving, losing everything you had where you used to live especially my friends
- When I moved away from my friends, I hate it T-T
- When I'm pushed to the limit, its happened
- When Rukia was about to be executed on Bleach (its random I know xD)
- When Ion died on Tales of the Abyss

The last too weren't that sad xD but I still cried heehee.
