Synopsis: Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor Leo) was an old anime show made in the late 60's. It chronicled the adventures of a young white lion cub, named Kimba. The show was remade in the late 80's, exposing a much darker side to the young white lion's adventures. However, when the 80's remake was dubbed into english, about half the show was cut! What remained was badly dubbed and poorly edited. Therefore, I would like to dub the Japanese version of the second episode as faithfully as I can.

Additional Notes: If I don't give much of a description of the characters voice, feel free to put your own spin on it. If you would like to see a pic. of your character, just ask me. If you are cast, I will probably use you as an extra as well. If you are not cast, you will probably be used as an extra.

Name: Kimba (kim-ba)
Species: White Lion
Gender: Male
Age (in human years): 3-5
Bio: Kimba is a young white lion cub who's parents
were killed by hunters. He jumps overboard on the ship
taking him too a zoo and ends up living with
a human boy (Kenichi) and his uncle (Ban).
Personality: Curious, eager, energetic, loyal
Voice Type: High, but not squeaky. Always very
innocent. Nothing he ever says comes out of malice.
Other than that, you really have free reign!
Audition lines: "I promised that I'll go with you! It's a man's promise!"
"I'm Panja's son, and Father could do anything!"
(pleading) "Duo, come on! The ocean's right there!"

Species: Black Panther
Gender: Male
Age (in human years): 20-30
Bio: Brother of Balibo and Zobia. A black panther living
in a zoo. He is the leader of the trio of brothers.
Personality: Mysterious, courageous, skeptical
Voice Type: Harsh, cold, and commanding. He really does have a nice
side near the end of the episode though.
Audition lines: "I understand. I promise I'll get to the jungle. Kimba, let's go!"
(dying) "Kimba, promise to go the jungle, for us brothers too."

Name: Balibo (bal-ee-boh)
Species: Black Panther
Gender: Male
Age (in human years): 20-30
Bio: Duo and Zobia's brother. A black panther living in a zoo.
Personality: Confident, bossy
Voice Type: Dry and cruel. Other than that, you have free reign!
Audition lines: "That kid is planning on bossing us around!"
(injured) "Please make our wish come true. I beg of you."
"Don't say stupid things, you brat."
Name: Zobia (zob-ee-ah)
Species: Black Panther
Gender: Male
Age (in human years): 20-30
Bio: Duo and Balibo's brother. A black panther living in a zoo.
He is the most comical one, and makes some dumb decisions.
Personality: Brash, not that smart
Voice Type: Punk, slightly over-the-top. Other than that you have free-reign!
Audition lines: "Heh, looks like a headstrong little kid!"
"Let's force our way out!"
"Look at this Brother. It's a huge cave!"

Bio: Kimba's human "owner". Ban's nephew.
Kimba and Kenichi really like each other, but that doesn't keep Kimba from wandering off on his own!
Personality: Bright-eyed, happy, energetic
Voice Type: Pretty average 13-year-old-boy voice.
He is always happy and optimistic, and very talkative.
Audition lines: (about Kimba) "Oh uncle, I wish we could take it home and keep it!"
"But, if you just leave it and it dies that's horrible!"
(to Kimba) "Today we're not in the usual town, so you can't wander around!"

Kenichi's rich uncle, who grudgingly takes in Kimba.
Personality: Grumpy, easily frustrated, comical
Voice Type: A little bit arrogant, easily flustered. Other than that, you have free reign!
Audition lines: "You want me to examine a lion cub? God, this is unheard of!"
"Kenichi! Don't say stupid things!"
(awe-struck) "I...it's not possible!"

Bio: An illegal poacher. Is involved in the plot to kill Kimba's father.
Personality: Loves food, exitable, comical
Voice Type: Gruff, unintentionally comical. Other than that you have free reign!
Audition lines: (to Kimba) "You must have been having one hell of a time being tossed around."
(lying) "Ah well...it's my cat you see..."
(calling out to a ship) "Hey we're saved! Hey! Hey!"

Bio: An old lion living in a zoo. Doesn't have much backstory.
Personality: Set is his ways, resigned to fate
Voice: I don't want your stereotypical grandpa voice. He's a little slower
speaking than most of the characters, but he isn't super old.
So, you really have free reign on his voice.
Audition Lines: "Don't get near those thugs!"
"I won't go. It's better to keep dreams as dreams."
"You won't be able to escape."
