This took forever to mix...D: Seriously, I was never satisfied with the final product till this. I'm pretty proud of the mixing (even though is lacks SFX...) and the bigger range than my pathetic old demo. AND ALL AUDIO HOSTING SITES HATE ME! Everything was just being total BLAAAHHHSS to me.;___; So sorry if the putfile link doesn't work. I'm not even sure if it works myself so...~_~

You did a really good job, but it did seem dark, like Sasuya said. It seemed most of the lines had the same emotion; or little emotion at all. Of course, there was the upbeat line here and there, but... ;_;

Also, most of it seemed like long lines. Miss Haushinka told me once that once in a while, producers want to see how fast you can talk at certain times. ^^;

Other than that, Sasuya pretty much covered everything else~su!

First thing I'd really like to note is that the whole demo had a very... Dark kind of feel =0 There was really only 1 clip that I really felt was very upbeat and happier. Everything else kind of had a very depressing or ominous feel to it.

I think there should be a more variation in voices. I heard a few individual ones, but some of the other clips sounded the same. You had a very good variation of emotions though =) But I think you should have added more happier upbeat emotions and personalities into your reel.

Some clips that really stood out for me was the second clip with the jealousy. And then the one with "lets enjoy life together!" I also thought the last clip was nice to end the demo with. =)

The delivery of your lines was pretty good but I definitely see some more room for improvement. Also, I think you should be enunciating your lines a bit more. Some of the words, some of the words in your demo were kind of hard to understand.

Well, that's my critique! ^^ Great demo Spade! I can really hear you progressing with your demos and fandubs!

So, I've decided I will start all of my critiques with YA-HA!, ala Hiruma!

So, anyways...

I did like it; you have quite the mindset for the dark types of characters. Like Sasuya mentioned, it would be nice to hear some variation (although I'm completely and totally guilty of the same thing; darker and more arrogant/insane characters are my forte).

But yah, most of your lines had me quite convinced; ironically, the one sort of "happy" line you had seemed the most unrealistic, mainly because your lines until then had been all "DAMN DEPRESSED DIE" types.

All in all, however, a nice demo reel.

Which reminds me, I should put something out one of these days...

Bumpish and now critique:
My main point to note is that you tended to slur your words a lot. Which made some characters that I thought were supposed to sound stronger, sound weak and under confident. It worked for the shy cutesy girls, but most of the time, it did end up weakening your performance. (On your lower more seductive voices, I didn't really hear that slurring though, which was odd...So you need to watch the slurring more in your high more energetic voices).
Another thing, I heard the same two voices a lot. The young shy girl (which you play strongly), and the slightly seductive mysterious older teen/young woman (which you also play well). However, I'd love to hear a wider variety of characters, and emotions. While sad lines are nice, I'd like to hear some happier ones. Maybe in that lower voice to help reduce slurring, so that more energetic lines wouldn't emphasis your weaker point? (Like, use your higher voice for shy girls, and your lower one for energetic ones?)
Like Ryu said, in your more energetic line, you delivered it very awkwardly, you had strange pauses, and it left me with a jagged impression to me...^^'' Watch out for that. It sounded like you were trying to deliver a happy line with the same pauses you would give a sad line, which made it come out strangely, and forced.
Overall, nice job. You have a good handle on what you're good at. =3 I'd love to hear you experiment more, and let us hear more of what you can do! Nice job, and keep it up!

Oooh, nice demo reel!

Like the others above me, I'm going to agree that it definitely is a little dark - there were a lot of young, girl-ish voices, too. I'd definitely like to hear some other types - older women, possibly a young boy? For the voices you did do, though, the emotions came off very well. I knew from the tone and not the words what the character was feeling. I know this because the voice volumes varied a little and it's pretty late, so my speakers are pretty low, eheh. ^_^' Anyway, great job! It's pretty much just needing some variation thrown in, but what you have now sounds pretty good so far.

Okya, late but as promised--although most seem to have covered a lot of what I want to say.

Nice variation of emotions-- but they're all quite gloomy, or negative [evil, sad, jealous, etc]. I think that the one clip about enjoying life was the one that stood out to me the most due to the change in emotion.

Range is interesting as I've seen you cover the medium-high to medium low range, but they all sound around the same age. Try experimenting with teenagers, adults, old ladies and even boys to expand our range more.

And again, I'm going to touch on the pacing and enunciation. Enunciation, while it needs some work, has definitely improved from before, I'm glad to say. The pacing of the demo seems to be fairly even, try either having faster-talking characters or some faster paced scenes [eg fight scenes] to very this.

Mixing was lovely. 8D SFX would enhance it more but it's not entirely necessary. Overall, while I sounded very picky it's still quite a strong demo. 8D
