The firefly spirit Natsume is taking care of is now weakened and near death. She wishes to see her former lover Akifumi one last time as a firefly, because he is now unable to see spirits and about to get married.

Producer's notes
This. Was. Hard. I just had to say it. Firstly, the soundtrack for this was out of my price range so I used the Mushishi one, which hopefully works well with this clip. There was also the language difficulty, because 'hotaru' means 'firefly' in Japanese and I'm scared that translating it into English it took away from some of the power of that. Also, Soundsnap went paid just when I as mixing in the SFX. >< Also, I mixed this on GarageBand, as opposed to Audacity, so there may be some differences. Cast, thank you so much for putting up with me, you guys are great!

This was so well done. Awesome job mixing mongtsatsa, all the SFX fit very nicely. For added effect to the whole mysterious spirit thing, I would have added a reverb to fairuza's lines but thats just me XD

The voices all matched their characters really well, I especially enjoyed rashinban's cat voice lol

This is fantabulous. VAs fit and were great. Nitpicks I have on the mixing was when Hotaru changed into a firefly the sfx came a bit late and didn't feel quite the right one to use, a less in your face one might have been better. And when Natsume crashed into the pond the splash sfx used didn't carry out the necessary boom thing I was expecting. Also when Hotaru left Akifumi wind was animated, but I never heard any small ruffling leaves or wind sfx.o_O Other than that it was well done.=)

Bwoods: I really felt like you fit Natsume to a T. I really think your performance sounded very professional and
it felt like you grasped this character really nicely.^^

Rashinban: I thought your Nyanko voice sounded really cute yet a bit sly which really worked for this character,but when it got to Madara I was blown away. It was extremely interesting to hear your lower range and it really benefited greatly for Madara. Great job!

Mongtsatsa: I loved your monster voice. This monster sure was hungry for fireflies.XD

Tenken2007: I also thought your performance sounded great as well. You voice for Akifumi was very suiting with a nice rich and resonating quality to it. Very beautiful!

LoH18: Your performace was angelic and pleasant with balanced with this character very well.^^


Mixing: Everything was mixed very greatly. From the casting to the music and sfx,I have to give you many kudos!It almost seemed like I was watching an official dub. Wonderful job Mongtsatsa. It was a great pleasure working with you!

Awwww! This was SO cute! And very well mixed. It seemed flawless to me. The VAs did such a fantastic job, every voice fit and every emotion was spot on. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of these clips. :3 Nice job everyone!
