I'd say "For Zeus' sake, at least homosexuality isn't by definition incestuous," but they do have the right to believe homosexuality is wrong.

And while people do have the right to believe incest is okay (though most people I've ever met/talked to frown upon it), I also have the right to believe it's wrong.

And here's why I think it's wrong. It screws with gene pools, whether or not each individual child is affected. It's also illegal.

Not to mention you said you're a religious guy...so I'll throw this one in.
God says it's wrong. Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and other religions all say it's wrong. (Leviticus 18: 6–18 in the Bible if you want to look it up.)

BUT you still have the right, if you do believe so, to believe incest is morally acceptable...I am just supporting my point.

My friend loves my other friend and their both girls!!! I can't say that I think same sex marriages should be allowed, but I'm fine with them being together but not married. That'll just be akward...

Interesting fact: They don't have the right to believe anything if you kill them (and they believe killing is wrong). It's a one-sided battle of might, really.

My two cents: America and other Capitalistic nations are about submission to corporations, not freedom. Don't get me wrong; I think Capitalism is great and all, but you can't rape, torture, maim, kill, and eat babies in any kind of society but an Anarchist one. Not that I'd ever do these things, since they hold great social repercussions, and progressivism has set the average state of mind in a capitalistic frame. Speaking, though, of progressivism, we're making progress with the LGBT deal. Conservatives are losing ground to the Liberals, and I think if we can get society smack dab in the middle of right vs left we can have a truly beautiful nation. Fat chance, though. We'll probably end up Fascist or Communist before that happens.

It still irks me that we are in the year 2011 and yet there are still many places around the world that still do not accept same sex marriages.

My take on same sex marriage is that; If you are happy in the relationship and it's hurting absolutely no one (no including the homophobes), then shouldn't it be your choice whether or not if you want to get into that position and marry the one YOU love? I myself am straight, but still am open to the fact that you should be able to marry whoever you want be it male or female.
