Icchan is the creator of Angelic Layer and like all brilliant scientists, he's completely insane. he introduces Misaki to Angelic layer and help her in it. He likes to give out weird punishments like a live octupus in Ogata's pants.
Ogata - Rikun*

Icchan's assistant who helps work on Angelic Layer and monitor the Angelic Layer battles. He's always in a panicked state because Icchan always diappears when they're something important to be down. The poor guy also falls victim to many of Icchan's strange punishments.
Shouko - Mindy*

Misaki's aunt and a news reporter, Shouko looks after Misaki when she moves to Tokyo. She's kind and can act like a kid but be serious too. She does a lot of reports and interviews on the Angelic Layer battles.
Tamayo - Ayame*

One of Misaki's best friends, Tamayo is energetic, crazy and an amazing fighter. She knows martial arts from all over the world and doesn't hesitate to use them on Koutaru all the time. She helps Misaki come up with new attacks for Hikaru.
Koutaru - Ben*

Misaki's other best friend and also trained in martial arts. Koutaru is kind of shy and has a slight crush on Misaki. Being Hatoko's brother he is very knowledgeable in all aspects of Angelic Layer. Why he doesn't play himself is anyone's guess.
Hatoko - Ishtar*

Despite being only 5 years old, Hatoko is highly skilled and very popular in the world of Angelic layer. She's undefeated and is known as the Rising Goddess or Killer Kindergartener
Yuuko - sakura ai*

She works on Angelic Layer with Icchan and Ogata and is a good friend of the champion, Shuuko. She's seen more often in the episodes later on when she acts as Shuuko's operator.
Yuuko's Husband - Treg*

Okay, I've forgotten his name but he's Yuuko's husband and another member of the team that works on developing Angelic Layer. He's a lot more active in later episodes too. Don't realy know that much about him.
