Anyway, yeah, there were a few voices that sounded the same but it's good that you separated them. If anything, next time if you want to use the same voice, use different emotion for both of them. I agree with everyone else, the second voice was pretty cool. XD

Ya, for my next demo. I'm gonna drop one of the kids, and the jock. And make the other voices longer.

This was a really appealing demo. I'd have to agree with Bwoods and Erica. Hmm..Looks like you'll be getting alot more scout opportunities.

Here's some critique:
...The main issue I had was with the first part, because I had no idea what was going on...Was that a group scene? I got lost there...Starting at, "Way to go guys!" All the voices sounded the same to me there, I...I was just rather confused.
I loved the "beer, boobs, line..." Some of your higher pitched voices got a little slurry, and left me thinking, I loved it, but I still think he could have pushed it a bit more. Another issue I had was I couldn't tell where you were aiming for gender wise with some voices, crossdresser? Androgynous? Feminine guy? Girl? Someone on helium gas? I'd like it to be a bit more clear in some lines, especially in the guy who romantically died line, if only because the line screamed, he's a bishonen guy to me, as well as the "YOU SPILLED MY ROYAL BLOOD," line; gave me the same issue. But the voices sounded a bit too girly to be bishonen, which I think of as rather than sexy/romantic/flamboyant; if you weren't going for bishonen, I'd love it if you could find someway to make the difference between these different types of characters in your higher range a bit clearer. (Or maybe I'm just...not good at distinguishing...?)

I also would've minded had you placed the lines in a less "grouped" manner at some points in the demo, I felt there were one too many young boyish/similar high voices in a row, and it confused me, and in all honesty, a few of your higher voices are a little bit annoying, which is wonderful (as the characters you gave them to need such voices), but hearing those voices quite a few times in a row in a demo reel can be a bit...irritating? The lower voice was like a sigh of relief for me though, whenever they came in....So I suppose it could also be considered good placement in that aspect.
Overall, nice job, and I had a lot of fun listening to this. Keep it up! =D

The aim of this demo was to show off my improved range. A few of your comments confuse me especially about the "Spilled Blood", I don't think anything about the way that line was portrayed carried any sort of Bishonen tones, beyond the sinister background music and hissing type voice, it was pretty clear the character was disturbed. The only attempt at a bishonen was indeed the peek of beauty dude.

As for the gender issue, they're all male and I don't think any of them sound like women, the 'yohji's so old' line is my natural voice so if it's that voice that makes you think Cross-dresser or female...I'm a little embarrassed.

In terms of the mixing, I have stated I'm pretty amatuer-ish when it comes to mixing demos this being my first real attempt to create a serious one. So, I have been instructed not to include too many of the same voices so I won't be including anymore of my children voices...sorry they came off so annoying.

There wasn't really a specific line that sounded exactly like a girl; but some lines had points in them where you sounded like that.
If you wanted the "spilled blood" line to sound disturbed, don't make it sound like a jokingly disturbed person. Because I was kind of thinking of Leroy from Gurren Lagann there...;-;
I didn't have the intention of offending you, I'm just stating the impression I got as a listener. Your young boy voices are good, and I wouldn't say take them out of your demo; just don't have so many in a row.
Perhaps I didn't word that in the best possible way, and I assure you I didn't mean to make it sound offensive; (reading it over, I guess it does a bit ;~;...), but...My criticism on the blood line stands. You didn't sound disturbed to me. You sounded like a flamboyant prince-like character (...I have...A strange strange idea of what a bishonen sounds like; which contributes to my description of him like that...I've come to associate flamboyant sound with bishi...Why is that...? So I guess, it wasn't really too bishonen sounding...I just...Have a strange sense...xD).

(And it wasn't the Yohji line...I...Actually think it was the spilt blood line (and a few similarish ones) that made me think of a cross dresser/effeminite/flamboyantish guy).
The childrens voices weren't bad annoying; they were wonderful, and good in that. The reason they bothered me is that there were so many in a row. If you have one or two in different places, my reaction might have been, "Your young boy voices were really cute!"
I hope this clarifies what I meant...Kind of?
