CREATURE OF THE SUN
Four hundred and fourty-six years ago, during the cold winter of the year 1550, an ancient family crest once existed; the Hama Family Crest. Those within this family, embued with the power of this crest, are there-by cursed with the spirit of the Fire Angel. Only one is born into existence every two thousand years, during the year when the previous Fire Angel passes away.
Now the year is 1996, Kobe, Japan. The current holder of the crest is a girl named Fuyuki Hama. Of course, it isn't long before she comes in contact with a seemingly average boy who's name is Kumakichi Nagataka. Unlike everyone else, Kumakichi begins to believe in Fuyuki, to cherish her existence, to learn more about her, to love her, and to find a way to get rid of her family crest... Once and for all.

Fuyuki Hama
Born in the cold winter of the year 1550, Fuyuki is the last descendant of the Hama Family Crest. Because of that, she is quite hesitant to sustain a long lasting relationship, as to avoid the curse from continuing through generations to come. Now in the year 1996, she can't help but fall in love with Kumakichi Nagataka. But will it be worth it?

Kumakichi Nagataka
Recently graduated from high school, Kumakichi is contemplating which direction he wants his life to head. He is responsible, caring, and absolutely hates accusations. He meets Fuyuki on the roof top of his apartment building one night, where she is taking life energy from the full moon.

Natsuya Hama
She is Fuyuki's blood sister, located on the opposite side of the same Hama Family Crest as Fuyuki. She was also given the crest, for unknown reasons. Two people having the crest at the same time has never happened before, but it did. She does whatever she can to prevent Gekido from getting in the way of Kumakichi and Fuyuki's relationship, because she knows that if Fuyuki falls in love, the crest will be shattered. Thus, freeing the entire Hama Family.

Gekido Saionji
He is Kumakichi's best friend straight out of high school, as well as his room mate. He's always been into history, and aside from the Hama Family itself, he pretty much knows the most about the Hama Family Crest. He's the one that Kumakichi turns to for information, when he starts getting a little curious about Fuyuki.

Jinchuu Nemuri
Kumakichi and Gekido's friend from school. Originally from China, he moved to Japan during their first year of high school, where he met the two boys who became his closest friends. He also tries his best to become good friends with Natsuya and Fuyuki, but seems to be failing at that somehow...
