Everlasting Films is holding an open casting call for female to play
Tali in a test scene for Tigers' Quest. Tigers' Quest is currently
being produced as an audio drama, but this particular test scene is
being put together to test out the possibilities of turning this audio
drama into a computer animated movie.

The story is about two tigers who must deal with the incursion of
mankind into their jungle home.

This particular scene involves the two main characters, Tiggra and
Clairese, as they leave their home for the last time and come upon
their friend, Tali, who is looking for her lost cubs.

Pay is $2.50

The actor cast for this role will record her own lines using her own
equipment. Therefore, the sound quality of your audition will be very
important. As lines are to be sent in via the internet, the location
of the actor is not important.

This test scene is for internal use only and is not intended for
distribution. However, Who3D, the company who is doing the computer
animation, may use it for their online portfolio. The scene may also
be used as a "What might have been" should the computer-animated
project not be greenlighted.

THE FOLLOWING IS THE CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

TALI: Female tigress. Human years – 21. Childhood friend of
Clairese. Mate to Mosa. Mother of Mosi, Pythus, and Bojen. In this
particular scene, she is desperate over the disappearance of her cubs. A british accent is required

When you submit your audition, you must include the following

THE FOLLOWING IS THE SCRIPT FOR THE TEST SCENE

For your audition, please read the lines for Tali in this scene.


(SCENE 2 – JUNGLE, DAYTIME. We find TALI in a state, searching
helplessly for her cubs. TALI doesn't know what to do, where to go.
She is just calling her cubs' names, running back and forth.)

TALI: (Crying) Mosi! (Beat) Puthys! Bojen!

(TALI listens, but there is no answer)

TALI: (Sobs) Bojen!

CLAIRESE: (OC. From a distance) Tali!

(TALI stops, thinking that it is one of her cubs answering)

TALI: Mosi?! Mosi!!!

(TIGGRA and CLAIRESE enter and approach)

CLAIRESE: (Apologetic) No, Tali. It's only us.

TALI: (Heartrending sigh. The last of her spirit is broken)

TALI: (Weeping) Oh, Clairese! My cubs…Pythus, Bojen…they're gone!
They're gone!

CLAIRESE: (Filled with concern) What happened?

TALI: I don't know. I went out hunting, and when I came back, they
were gone. Gone!
