I love European countries for this reason... so many different languages all around.

As for me, I've been taking French for years. I'm not as good in it as I would like though.
Next semester I finally get to take my first class in Japanese... after years of teaching myself the language I'm excited to improve my conversational skills~

I'm also going to take either Mandarin or Korean in later years... I'm not totally sure which though.

I'm in Spanish III and plan on taking through Spanish V in high school. I study Italian and Japanese on my own, though I'm making slow progress with the Japanese. >_<

I think it'd be neat to be a linguist as a professional job when I'm out of college. I plan on taking as many languages in college as I can.

Wow, there are so many of you with a bunch of languages! I wish my school had more languages (it has only two) and I wish the courses it does have were more rigorous. Just going through a few chapters of a verb workbook, I learned more over the summer than I expect to in Spanish V this entire year.

My sister appears to be really good at learning languages independently. At least, she sounds expert when she talks about the grammar. She goes crazy and buys a lot of dictionaries and grammar books and things. She was working on Norwegian last year and now that she's discovered anime, she's learning Japanese.

I've taken French and German, but I've forgotten most of it... I can still carry on a conversation, sometimes, though. I've also picked up Spanish from my friends who speak it. Lately, I've been interested in learning some Romanian and/or Russian. And I've always been interested in Latin, which I randomly study from time to time.

My main language of study, though, is Japanese-- which I speak well enough to teach... My goal is to be a translator! Go bilingual-ness!

I started Japanese and Korean, but I got too lazy with both of them. Currently, I'm a Spanish class and have taken the language for five years so far. I also teach myself various various phrases in a ton of languages, but that hardly counts.

I... WAS taking French, but because of a schedule conflict, they dropped me from it. I was supposed to take French 5 this semester. But because both me and my French teacher argued to guidence about it, they're letting me skip French 5, and move on to French 6 next semester.

And I'm in the process of self-catching-up on French until then. And I'm self-teaching Japanese.

I'm also taking Japanese at my University. It's really fun. I like all the people in my class.
I have this little problem with not doing homework, though, so even though my quizzes and tests are okay and I'm learning the stuff, I fear I may not get the best grade...unless the teacher will let me hand in a semester's worth of homework -_-o
But I love it all the same. I can't believe how much I've learned in one semester.

I have a minor in German and am taking Japanese right now in college to count for a language credit.
Since I declaired a language as my minor I can't double count it for a language requirment

Since I'm looking into International Studies and Diplomacy as my new major, I've been taking a bunch of different languages on....so far, Japanese, French, Italian, Korean and whatever I can manage to fit into my head.

...it hurts up there ._.
