    Some specific compliments:

Peachie Girl (Emily's Mother and the gym teacher) - Thanks so much for pitching in here with so little notice. Your lines are short, but they helped me finish this episode without having to hold auditions or spend time scouting before I knew what I was looking for.

Japanimaniac13 (Emily) - You really excelled in turning into the supportive friend that Ash needed in this episode - and played the embarrassment scene fantastically.

Mippa (Ash) - Up to now, we've pretty much only been able to hear you be angry. How nice finally to give you a chance to show off more of your emotional range. Naturally, you pulled it off brilliantly.

BigTUnit1 (Colin) - Welcome to the cast! Not a lot of work for you, here. But you made Colin just enough of a jerk to make us see Ash's discomfort. And I really love the way you did your come-on line.

    R. Douglas Barbieri (Dr. Edward Upton) - So nice to have a chance to work with you again! You brought a great fatherly tone as needed to embarrass poor Ash, along with showing just enough believable social ineptitude to embarrass Emily. You're going to provide a great counterpoint to the immature characters in the cast.

Thanks so much to all of you - and I look forward to receiving your lines for episode 4!

Awsome, another one. Everything sounded pretty good mixing wise, although I got some buzzing on certain footsteps although that could just be my junk speakers. Another small thing was the transition to the airport was a little sudden. But other than those small bits, it sounded great.

Acting wise, everyone was great. There wasn't anything that really sticked out too much. Keep up the great work Russ!

By the way, I thought your voice was deeper than that Mippa (end credit part).

Woo! This story is great, even without reading the comic, it's pretty easy to follow. =D I do love all the voices and they seem to be getting more into their characters with each episode.

I'm not quite sure what's in the background in the opening scene. In the second scene, the pause between when mippa was yelling at him then asking him what he wanted, around 2 min? There should have been some sort of stutter from you, Russ, or a 'uh..' or something between when she was arguing and then when she asked him what he wanted. I hope that made sense. o_o

Some of the sound effects were a bit loud, especially the beeping for the cash register. Also, the footsteps were way too loud compared to the voices, in the...fourth scene? When BigT appears. In fact, in that scene, all of the voices seemed a lot softer than other scenes. So, levels through out the entire thing weren't real equal.

I do think for the phone scene, that Emily should have been on the other end...I know it doesn't seem very important, but it would have made the whole scene more realistic, from Ash's point of view.

Wow. Haha, that was an awkward scene between Ash's dad and Emily, that was great. XD I think I'm an R. Douglas fangirl! XD

When you, Russ, were being pushed under water, there probably should have been a bigger splash...but that's just me. XD

Weee! It looks like a lot, but it's all very small stuff. This is addicting! Must hear mooooore! You're really quick with releasing these episodes, I love it!

I am a fan of this RP series so far^^ The quirky humor mixed with real emotions, and just all over interesting characters keeps on calling be back. The mixing was great, and the acting was top notch as usual. I am honored that I was able to be involved in this project, and I hope I can be in future episodes. Great stuff:3

Thanks all for your comments! Mochan, you have a very good ear. Maybe I can persuade you to be a beta listener for future episodes? It would be great if I could have somebody like you to catch technical problems before I release.

    Yaay, it's done!

This is definitely my favorite episode so far, I actually am satisfied (mostly) with my voice this time, which is a big thing, for me. >_>

Mippa: Lovely job as always, I am so honored to be working with you.
Russ: The scene shifts were incomparably improved, and the background felt much more comfortable with the music! I am sorry I didn't get that "hard g" note until it was too late, but I'm glad to see it wasn't a big enough deal to delay the episode (really, you've never heard it pronounced that way before? Must be a Midwest thing... ^^; ). I am so happy, too, because the story's finally getting to progressing, and it truly is such a wonderful comic.
I am sorry for the lack of email response lately- like I told you earlier, this week is the week I move into my Freshman dorm, so I've been hard-pressed to get much done. A lot of my audio-editing files are still in the process of being transferred to the laptop, as well. But my last day of work is the 12th, so I'm planning to get the episode 4 lines recorded in the three days that follow. I'm excited as always!
BigTUnit1: Welcome to the team! You did a great job with the character, and really made me laugh.
    R. Douglas Barbieri: I was actually suprised on your take of Dr. Upton. When reading the comic, I'd always thought of him as much more animated, so it was interesting to hear him vocalized and sounding much more mellow. It works, though! It's always very cool for me to hear the way other people interpret characters! Welcome to the team!
Peachie Girl: ^^; I don't really have much to comment on, but you did a wonderful job. I hope to work with you agian in the future!

I've done some minor sound effects updates to address some of the things that Mochan pointed out...

You think that's something? First time I heard Mippa in anything was this very adult, mature role and speaking in a deep, borderline seductive tone and then came the end credit part and my jaw was on the floor.

In any case, I found this radioplay quite entertaining. I probably need to listen to the first two episodes but I managed to get the gist of the story anyway, and the dialogue was quite witty (though I expect you took a lot of dialogue directly from the webcomic itself). I do like Ash a lot, she's got a lot of personality and it was fun hearing her celebrate still being a boy on the inside. However, considering the audition thread, I think Ash is going to be a girl for a long, long time. Hope you're ready for the long haul, Ash.

I do wish the music (what there is of it) had a little more power, though. It's very minimalist and more often than not barely there. I would like to hear the music complement the scenes, instead of just being mild background noise that seems to offer no apparent purpose.

In short, this was a great way to spend twenty minutes. Quite memorable and entertaining, with the VAs going all out into their characters (probably thanks to great directing help) and a good mixing job that uses some well-chosen sound effects. I hope to see more of this quality in episode 4.

I'll head back to episodes 1 and 2. I'm expecting a somewhat rougher job considering that they are the "first" episodes.
I have Fate/stay night fandub scripts in need of a good home. Contact if interested.

I'm always up to something here and here. Feedback is always appreciated.
