Hello, I guess I should introduce myself to everyone since I joined and all that good stuff!

I found out about the VAA at the Nekocon anime convention in Virginia so I decided to check it out since the site has sparked my interest.

    Umm...a little bit about me.
Well, everyone just call me Pro and Im in the Navy as well as stationed in Virginia Beach at the moment. My job in the military is Cryptologic Technician and I basically deal with computers all day.
In my free time I enjoy playing all types of computer games, tabletop games and RPG's.
I have over 20 different series of anime and love to buy collectors items to decorate my room with from various games and anime.
I'm very very new to voice acting but I thought I would give it a try and have some fun.
Well I don't really have anything else to say but if you want to know somthing, just ask!!!!

    Thanks for having me!

so Navy eh? It's said that the navy was the perfect career to see the world. How are you finding it? Are you assigned to a ship? I'm supprised that in such a full time job there's time for much else. Cryptology as in 2 part primary numbers? Given the complexity of todays code making isn't it a little daunting trying to crack most of it? I hear even P.G.P. is still giving certain international intellegence agencies one or two problems.

I think your the first military dude we've got around here. Cool. Always good to see that the alure of voice acting is universal regardless of primary career options.

Oh sorry, were are my manners, welcome.

Thanks for welcoming me ClymAngus, Im delighted and suprised to be the only military person here. No, I'm not stationed on a ship, in fact, I work in a nice cozzy office and have my own desk. I'm 19 by the way and I'm originally from Ohio.
To explain what I do a little bit better, I am in the Cryptology field, but I mainly deal with maintenance. Except for that I am really experianced at networking and programming so my current job is working with what is called the Fleet Information Warfare Center Web Risk Assessment Team. Our mission is basically to look over all navy web sites and assess them to make sure they do not have classified information on them. We also check to make sure people names and private information are not being leaked through the internet.
My current job is the programming of an automated system that will check the websites via a program instead of people having to do it manually. I am also in charge of training others to configure how the program runs.
Thats a break down of what I do
