Synpnosis: The dangerous assasin Vino [aka Claire Stanfield] decides to meet up with Rachel for lunch to help with some relationship issues he's been having. Given the fact the last time they met was when he was trying to kill her... this may be very awkward.

Comments: It's done! :D Just in time before my school begins to get crazy. This is my first time mixing anything that isn't a karaoke track, so comments and criticism shall be very much appreciated!

I'm so glad I managed to finish this at all. XD I have a bad habit of procrastination, so I was worried that this wouldn't get done until next year.
Anyways, I think I missed a few SFX where Claire bangs the table, and also the echo at the end of Nicholas' line was not very well done but I decided to stick with it anyways because it felt too empty without an echo.

Looove, Baccano! XD I haven't gotten around to watching the extra episodes yet, so this was a great treat for me.

Claire: Ranshinban - I really liked your voice and your performance. The voice was a good fit, and you brought out Vino's playful side really well. Some of the lines really made me smile, like when he was swooning over Chane killing all the white suits. There were just a couple moments in which I felt you were working too hard on maintaining the same voice which made some of the acting lose a little bit of feeling. You really did portray the character beautifully, though. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to you.

Rachel: lightofhope18 - I like your delivery quite a bit. You managed to give her a sort of indifferent tone without sounding completely flat or bored. The voice you used was a little higher than what I remember Rachel's to be, although it's been a couple months since I last watched Baccano! so I could easily be wrong. I think a somewhat deeper pitch would have suited her more, and it would give her a fuller more mature tone instead of the slightly nasal tone that sometimes crept into your lines. But even with that, you performed well. ::thumbs up:: topleka seal of happiness.

Nicholas: BigTUnit1 - Oy, not enough airtime. @_@ You have a good voice, and I liked your delivery, especially the scream. I wish I got to hear more so I could say something substantial. ^_^;;

Mixing - Sounded pretty good to me. I wasn't paying close attention, but I guess that means that nothing stood out as wrong, either. The levels were good and the sound effects fit well. ::nods::

Thanks to everyone for producing this clip. I quite enjoyed it and I look forward to hearing more productions from all of you.

Very nice job at mixing^^ Even though you said that there were bits of SFX missing here and there, they weren't really noticeable. Rashinban and LoH fit very well in there respected roles, and the dialog was fitting. For your first clip here, I thought you did a great job. I look forward to working with you more

I've never heard you before but I think you did great! You definitely brought the "why the hell am I here" attitude in your performance without lacking energy. I've never seen the original series so I don't know what Rachel's voice is suppose to sound like but I think the one you chose fit the character really well

Excellent screaming XD I wish you had a bigger role, you always have such good reactions.

Mixing:
Very well done. The levels were all the same and everything was really clear. I feel like there should have been some sort of door noise when nicholas was at the door? And in the beginning, everything was so quiet! I think I heard some cars in the background but that could have just been my open window XD

Rashinban, you were fantastic if you don't mind me saying ^^. You're performance was very natural and extremely fitting for the character. I loved being able to see you love struck and a little crazy all in one clip!

Lightofhope18, nice job on being the sensible, "what the heck is up with him ?" character. I did feel like you were holding back a bit though, but overall very well done ^^.

And of course Big Bwada, you were awesome as the "scared out of my mind" informant. Nice screams~ They made me wanna save you from Rashinban! Wish you had more screen time! TAT

This was truly entertaining to watch. Can't wait to see more from you Mongtsatsa!

I feel so special<3 The reason for me sounding all nasally (I think) is because I had super bad allergies and my asthma was going crazy when I recorded. At least, I think. That could have been for another project...

I've been meaning to watch this show for a while and I'm still stuck on episode 1. Maybe, I'll finally move on and understand the plot~


Claire//Rashinban -- I must say, I felt so inferior while watching the clip to both yours and BigTUnit1's performances. You really did a fantastic job getting into character and I loved the little things you embellish your character with. I loved the transition from flamboyant Claire to the deadly assassin. You did a super job with the attitude changes. Like topleka said, there were a few spots that I could see you were trying a bit too hard to maintain the voice, but overall, I really liked hearing you as him.

Rachel//LoH (me) -- I was in a super state of shock when I saw I got this role after sending in a really last minute audition. I'm not sure that I did Rachel as well as she should have been, especially with the high voice. I thought I had done a lower pitch in those batch of lines... Maybe not...

Nicholas//BigTUnit1 -- Another performance that made me feel very inferior. Your voice reminded me of Masako-kun's at some points and I kept on thinking, "Wait... Why is Masako in this....???" I wish you had a bigger part in this because you did such a great job with what you had. Especially that prolonged scream. It turned out very nicely~

Mixing -- I was pretty impressived with how well the mixing was. I did notice some parts -- like when Rachel was drinking and breaking of bread, etc. -- there could have been some sort of SFX. Also when that little girl and man went into a building, there was no door slam... or it was really delayed... The volumes (especially mine) were a little off, but otherwise okay. I loved how crystal clear the mics sounded which really was nice for this. Overall, I will look forward to seeing more of your productions<3

I have not seen this series...though now I want to. This was so amusing. XD Everything I was going to say has been said already, but I'm so glad I saw this. It was subtle and nice, even though there weren't SFX for certain things, I still though it fit and didn't necessarily *need* the sound effect. If it was there, it would work, but it wasn't it also worked. Though with the door near the end, when it shut I don't believe I heard a sound effect (or was it delayed? I couldn't tell). Levels were good, though.

BigT needs to yell more often. Oh ho ho.

I've never watched Baccano completely, but this clip was hilarious. The mixing was well done though mentioned before the missing door sfx threw me off for awhile. Loved it and the cast was perfect in their roles. I should get goin to watch some Baccano.

@topleka: I think the official Rachel voice was a slight bit lower, but I always thought that Rachel had a particularly high voice for her character when I first saw her in the series. XD

@BigT: Thanks! It was great working with you too, you even managed to hold the five second scream. XD

@tomatocars: What do you mean about time? XD And yes, I added cars and traffic at the beginning because of the open air environment and that here were people walking [ast everywhere in the clip. XD

Claire//Rashinban -- I think this was so cool. Your voice is very smooth and crisp, and the emotion you gave to your character was flawless. I luv how Claire is an assassin yet he's eating pasta and going on about a woman, this character ROCKS! Oh and how you were able to do all the sounds like when he was chewing his food,sighing,etc. That was great too;GOOD JOB!

Rachel//LoH -- You truly are spectacular! I love your voice for this character,I don't know if she's suposed to sound monotone but it made me laugh because your character didn't seem to want to be there with the guy who tried to kill her before I'm totally a fanboy now that I've heard your voice. Your voice really did fit Rachel and your performance was very nice. Great job on lyp synching as well! I look forward to hearing more of you in the future ^^

Nicholas//BigTUnit1 -- It's my homie BigTUnit1! I totally loved how you played your character, even though it was just a minor role. I thought I was watching this on Adult Swim, it seemed so professional. Your scream was hilarious XD The only thing I noted was that the character seemed older and you sounded a little too young, but I loved your voice for Nicholas regardless and you never dissapoint! Congratulations and Good Job!!!

Mixing -- I actually thought the mixing was very well done! There were a few sounds/SFX missing for the scene, but aside from that if this was on t.v. I don't think I would have noticed. The script was awesome and I enjoyed the mixing very much as well as the cast. You all did great!
