Currently Reading Comics?

I'd say she could probably skip Disassembled and House of M if she's already gotten to Civil War, though. CW is a good jumping on point, anyway, though kind of awhile back.

I guess, Cheshire, it depends on if you're wanting to do trades or monthlies. If you're doing trades, I'd stick with getting some Dark Reign and Siege stuff (Secret Invasion was okay but can also probably be skipped). If you're doing monthlies, three new Avengers books are about to launch that will all be great jumping on points.

Thanks for the recommendations so far. I'm pretty much a complete newbie when it comes to the whole universe, so I'm up for looking into anything at this point. And Matt, I'd definitely be up for looking into those new Avengers books. I think I've been liking that sect of the Marvel-verse the most so far, really.

That's about it. I would have listed more under Brightest Day like Green Lantern Corps, but I'm not enjoying it that much. Probably because I don't like Tomasi's writing.

Sadly my Marvel reading has suffered lately, so I'm not at the moment reading much Marvel stuff. But currently all I'm keeping up on is Green Lantern, Red Robin, and Detective Comics. Just stuff I'm randomly reading...I've been re-reading some of my old Spidey's and X-Men (Yeah...that's it for my Marvel...Old X-Men and Spidey's...I need to get more caught up) and some old Superman stuff. With Bruce Wayne coming back though I expect my consumption of Comics to go up a lot.

Picked up the first two issues of The Guild so adding that to my list because it's freaking awesome. Especially since I already have voices for the characters in my head thanks to the web show. Well I usually do anyway, but this just seems more "official". If that makes any sense.

I'm sure there are a lot of other people who don't find the show funny. I mean, I and practically all of my friends can't figure out why people think anything Tim and Eric put out is funny, but they're still wildly popular. Differing senses of humor and whatnot.
